should they ****. theres only one team in oceania that knows how to play football. they should have to earn the right to be in the world cup.

too bad all those south Pacific island don't join forces and all play under a single flag, kinda like the West Indies do in Cricket. I'm sure it wouldn't be a threat to Australia, but I'm sure they'd at least be a bit more competitive..

I actually like the way it is right now. But if one continent deserves more teams its south america. They produce the best teams.

really? Besides Brazil and Argentina, who are the other "best" teams? Colombia, Uruguay, Paraguay, etc are decent, but they're no better than 2nd tier Euro squads like Poland, Rep. of Ireland, Denmark...

Half the damn thing makes it anyway.

Oh, and Nauru (Oceania) is the only remaining unbeaten national team....they played one match and won it 2-1 That was pretty random.

actually, Saudi Arabia reached 1/8-finals at the WC 98 and Iran is the strongest Asian team in my opinion and both these teams do deserve their spots

A little correction: Saudi Arabia made it to the round of 16 in 1994, which was the first time they made it to a World Cup finals.
