Teamwork for PES editing thread

Everyone who did some editing for pes should agree that it's a big physical work. Wolf gave us a great patch with much hard work. Now Phoenix is taking the response.
There're 2 weeks or so before summer transfer window closes. A lot of work need to be done with the PES4/WE8I option file. PES5 will not be off the shell until this winter. Maybe we can get a team work to do it, more accurately, less time-consuming for single one. I believe the team (if formed well) can do more than 05-06 season summer transfer update.

The following is my thought and it has begun...

Initiation:

Guys here are from all of the world. It's fitful for 'cooperation' in nature with 'time zone' help. One can have its own working hour, and one by one we can edit our part of the job.
We need:
1. Responsibility
We should make our part accurate and let Phoenix (or someone else) unnecessary to check it through too much.
2. Knowledge
We know how to use utilities to edit, we know the correct transferring information.
3. Management
The teams are dispatched and edited by line, and commited (through email, Phoenix can be the final stop) in an predefined order.

Maybe after a long time of grind, we can achieve a concrete team with high 'passing accuracy' and high 'teamwork'.

Explaining to 'time zone' benifit:

Needn't do 'merge' actually. It looks like a pipeline. One updates his teams and transfers the result to the next one. Then the next one does his job and go transferring to the next of the next...
In a world-wide forum, it is easier to do so. For example, Assuming A lives in Germany and usually do the updating at about 22 GMT (that's 23 in local time,right?). At 22 GMT, Aug. 5th, he edits his favorite German national team at the right time and one hour later, he finishes his part and emails the option file to B who lives in New York, USA. B can edit his favorite Brazil at 3 GMT, Aug. 6th (local time, 22:00, Aug. 5th) and then emails it to C in China. The single option file travels around the world while new updates get ready.

and this is set out to achieve what exactly?

The steps I suggested:
1. All cooperators be informed and works be dispatched among them;
2. We share one knowledge base, which provides necessary and accurate information. It can be a website or sth. else;
3. We agree with what to be edited and what not to. And in what principles.
4. We exchange email addresses and get sorted in a time-zone/working-time list;
5. We start the first round.

My steps when doing transferring.

1. Document
I gathered the transferring information from Goal.com and arranged it in an Excel file, which is easy to sort and compare. (I upload it in the attachment, not an up-to-date one.)
2. Marked
Having sorted the Excel file (the 'doc' brieviated) in 'name' order, I checked all players involved in 'all players' list of EditPES4OptionFile to find which were missed and needed to be created. They were marked.
3. Out
Sorting the doc in 'team from' order, I transferred all players involved and existent out.
4. Create
I used 'unused players/created players' list in EditPES4OptionFile to created non-existent players, name, nation, height, weight and so on. They would be 'free players'.
5. In
Sorting the doc in 'team to' order, I went to the team I was interested at that time. I moved the players involved from 'free players' to team squad one by one, assigned the squad number, the correct one if I could know, or 99,98,97 if I couldn't. If the team squad was full, I moved some players out, who 1) was not in the official list, 2) nearly never appeared last season, 3) was younger.
6. Starting-line and Stragety
I did it if I knew. If I didn't know exactly, I just changed the absurd ones.
7. Save
'Save' for another time.

Now we are discussing on a reliable transferring information source. Unfortunately, there's no reliable source for all league, each being good at some and missing some other.

Any other suggestion?

Now BioWizard/Bio is trying updating page 4/4, including Boca, River Plate, Panathinaikos and so on. The results will be transferred to Phoenix before he wakes up tommorrow. And then Phoenix can go on with his work based on it.
Sure we will meet problems and challenges. It's a good experiment between two. All enthusiasts are welcome to join. The more the quicker and the less one would work for it.
It'll be better if you know how to do transferring with EditPES4OptionFile and how to create new players through conversion from FM2005 data.

I'm not familiar with Bundesliga and French Ligue. Maybe somebody else in fond of them do the transfer joining our team, that'll be much better.
I think it'll be much better for Germen to do Bundesliga related updates, French to do French Ligue, and Spaniard to do Spanish Liga. We can benefit from our time zone difference, and 'The one who loves it can take care of it better'.

btw: anybody can show me a Russian Transferring list? or just Lokomotiv Moscow and Spartak Moscow squad info. Bio and I can't read Russian and found no reliable source for them.

Pubb, for people have 56 k and don't take phoenix patch, could you make only option file for them please.

The SEKPABOLA option file is excellent and he would make an update, could him associate with you to make ONE FINAL PATCH;

Phoenix's update patches include only option file. but you may experience strange face without face file in 0_text.afs...

1.Never create players in 'youth players' slots. They have problems in ML. (thinks to nikos)

There're two problems transferring option file in email attachment:
1.mailbox is different
some accept RAR, some only allow ZIP attachment, and some only accept TXT attachment while some will cut off TXT attachment.
Beside the file type, some mailbox has a size limit, so it can't hold too many versions of option file.
2.somebody will miss the time allocated for him sometimes.
Yesterday I made a mistake. I was off line when my time sending option file to Phoenix came. It stopped Phoenix to do his part because he even had no version from Salmon.

So I have some suggestions on how to put our work to others. I hope to hear opinions from you all:
Since we have no private space to communicate and hold the files, we have to use 'rapidshare' (or somewhere else, you say). Everybody finishes his work on time and uploads it to rapidshare. Then he will tell the link to ALL updaters involved by posting to soccergaming, my 'team work' thread (email may lost unknown sometimes, but you can say your opinion).
According to 'work dispatched.rtf', when somebody's commit time passes, he is considerred to have no time to do anything today if his work doesn't appear. Then the next next updater in circle can do something with the current latest option file and let the option file travelling continue.
I have to say, TIME is Crucial.

I often make myself misunderstood or bothering for English words. Please tell me your questions.
