anyway ppl have forgotten something important.. Total Club Manager 06.. is there any manager game for PES? i think not... it's starting to be WAY TO MANY things in favor of Fifa...

disappointed your going but well watever you want...you've made threads like this before though, you were leaving before coz of anti-american bias supposedly but returned...

on the fifa demo, i havent played much but 1st impressions were disappointing, players look very odd, their proportions and wats up with the hair? just looks like blobs on their head....

also how the hell do you change graphical settings?

I think that Fifa2006 (i tried the demo), is not so different respect 05,04,03...

Konami VS EAgames 100 - 0 Goodbye Wolf!!!

Firstly, a big thank you to Wolf for his amazing patches. It was his patches that made me switch from FIFA in the first place, WE7I at that time a far superior game to FIFA. Because of him, we were also able to really experience WE8I in its fullness.

However, if FIFA 06's gameplay can match WE/PES I think Wolf not doing anymore patches isn't going to be a problem for most of us if we all switch to FIFA.

I think when people play soccer games, it shouldn't be the brand that matters, but the gameplay and kits and etc. Konami must recognise this. It can't expect a soccer game with unlicenced stuff to beat FIFA.

But unlicenced stuff is ok if it can be patched. By making it harder for us to edit WE9, Konami has shot itself in the foot, and EA Sports has been given the upper hand.

We shouldn't moan about Wolf leaving. He has done a great job his part for the community the past 2 years, and now maybe it is time to consider moving on to FIFA, like he is.

(Note: I haven't tried both the demo and WE9 yet, I'm only taking his word for it, so my view may be highly biased. But I really don't care about the WE vs FIFA stuff; just buy the better one, not the brand!!!)

Sorry but fifa still cant compare to we9 in gameplay..

wolf will come back, maybe not as a patchmaker, be he will be definately playing pes5 again. I cant imagine, people going from pes to fifa. Yes the fifa06 demo is enjoyable, but it wont last long, after a few days you will get really bored and come back for some real gameplay.
And who knows, maybe they will improver all the things mentioned in wolfs post in pes5.
all in all i dont think wolf will be playing fifa for too long

I tried the demo again last night. Fifa still has the same problem as before. No emotion. I don't feel good when I score. I go crazy when I score in PES4.

I feel exactly the same. The atmosphere in fifa is good at the start of the match, but when the match begins I just dont feel like I really want to win, and when I score I dont feel very happy, but more dissapointed at how crap that goal looked because of the crappy animations and totally messed up graphics.

He'll be back crying when he will realize that fifa is crap as allways.

100% agree. EA made for Fifa 2006 a few thinks from PES. My english is not good enough so i can't describe the details. but for me the fifa 06 demo is still a big arcade game, to fast, the ball is like ping pong etc.

thanks wolf for making your patches. i don't use your patch but i think it was a big base for all patch maker

That's a strange decision of you WOLF. I played the demo a couple of hours ago and the gameplay is still poor.
I know it's a big job to make all licenties correct etc... but with help of others it's maybe this year less busier.

I know 100 % that We9/Pes5 + patch will be the ultime soccergame of the moment...

Okay, I downloaded & tried the Fifa 06 demo & the gameplay is similar to PES/WE in many ways. The players up close look overly shiny, they look a bit retarded/deformed, & most importantly, the kits are totally inacurate. I gave it a shot but I'm sticking to PES/WE.

Maybe Ea pay Wolf to promote Fifa06 :funny: :funny: No offense Wolf..

I cant find any other good reason why wolf go to fifa(i play fifa demo and cant compare to We despite referee blows fouls sometimes too quick and less licences clubs)

Fifa:
+licence +you see camerman +new original socks and boots +every spectator has own face +music ++goalkeeper animation(realy)

We:
+ONLY GAMEPLAY AND BALL physics

So the winner is FIFA(the only game that need gameplay patch)

I'm still waiting for the punchline.......... :fool:
