Van De Meyde

Hello, i think Fifa 06 is the best game ever made but im a litle bit annoyed that van de meyde isnt in the game for Everton. Is it possible for some to give me some stats of him...eg(shot power, speed etc)..even if it was last years stats! i would check myself but i traded in 05 :hit:

What are all of the stats this year? I'll give it a go and assign a number to each if you can post them.

Hes not in inters team...i would have done that by now.

Yeah, my guess is that they closed the database when those players were in the progress of being moved from one team to another, in the case of Van Der Meyde if I remember correctly he was transferred the 24/08/05 from Inter to Everton (I'll have to check Mercato to be sure) so imo the Italian chief ME made him free agent to be available for the English one to put him in Everton but then without warning the database was closed and I guess all players outside of a team got erased or put on hold or something similar(I don't see what else could have happened).

In this case we see Diao and VDM missing because they are fairly well known players but there could be others (I for example am sure the belgian ME's were still editing their teams when database closed)

How and why could this have happened? I have my theory, but I don't want to breach the NDA by inadvertence by trying to explain it...

disclaimer : the above is purely guessing of my side and could be totaly wrong, let's wait what EA have to say about a possible patch or something

I think that puts him right around a 78 overall. People are going to argue with me that it's too low of a score. Keep in mind though, players in FIFA 06 are scored a litte differently this year, with most players are lower than 05. Considering that there are only about 5 other CAM's and 4 RWM in the EPL rated over 78, I really feel that 78 is a close number. Enjoy.

i have a problem, when I create a player in the last name, there is not enough space, for example Karagounis is not in anywhere exept from Greece, when I go to put his name is just enough for karagouni

I heard a rumour there was a character limit on creat a player, but don't know for sure. His name might be to long....

yeah i tried to create Karagounis too... i had to put Karagonis

Yes there are longer names hard-coded into the game. But I'm guessing they've put a max limit in create a player...

thats so stupid, EA finally makes a decent game, and they have to screwd it up with little stupid things
