Can everyone who has fifa 06 and has a 100% working gamepad in the game, I.E - all buttons, analog sticks, Dpad and front triggers all working perfect.

Please post in here the exact name of thier gamepad as windows names it as in control panel/game controllers.

It means people like me who have gamepads that arent working properley can try changing our pad's name to the name of known working ones in the system registry.

EA is such a joke its just sad, and its even more sad that morons buy their games and support them when EA releases their games in beta states like this one ..... I mean what kinda **** is this when a SUPPORTED controller isnt fully supported ??

Anyways, my PS2 controller is fully working but the right analog stick is not working.

I often have at least some sort of controller problem with EA games, but for some reason this time my controller works fine (and no having to edit the registry or any files).

I use a PS2 controller with this PSX-to-PC adapter:



I bought it almost a year ago on eBay from THIS GUY. But there seem to be a lot of people selling them if you do a search.

I appreciate your input mate :) but please people ONLY post in here the name of your controller if its FULLY working in fifa 06, cheers.

You see, iam trying to get a list of perfect working pads then that way we can all try changing the names of our pads that arent working properley.

Sooo, come on guys, please post the exact name of your gamepad if its fully working in fifa 06, the name of the pad can be found in windows control panel/game contollers.

I have the same and it's perfectly working too

My Microsoft Sidewinder plug and play gamepad works too but has only 6 buttons so no real interest

Now this is not entirely true ..... why ? because you cant use the Analogue Sticks and the D-pad to do interactive tactics , so even though the pad works ok , your still missing a vital element from the game.

Plus i find my PS2 Pad a tad delayed when playing on direct ip with my mates.

You're right. What I meant to say is that I've had no problems with the right analogue stick like many people have.

even with the recent patch installed i still have to call my pad a "logitech rumblepad 2 usb" in the system registry to get it fully functioning.

my pad is a saitek p2500 by the way.

Well this is how we did it for FIFA 2004

In Windows, click start ->run then type regedit.exe and click ok

Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, open SYSTEM, open ControlSet001, then Control, media properties, private properties, joystick, OEM.

view each folder (should look like VID_0428&PID etc) until you find the controller you have.

When you see you controller, double click where it says OEMName to the left of where its says the name of your controller, change it to "Logitech Rumblepad 2 USB".

This fools Windows into thinking your controller is the logitech one.

I've altered the pad name 'cos the guy above you says "Logitech Rumblepad 2 USB" works.
