how boring can you get at this place?

i don't even care about posting this, because the moderators don't even visit this place and so won't be closed. hmm. seriously, whens the last time you've seen Rami, Blue or Ash post here? i can't even remember! not having a dig at them at all, this place has become boring as hell and i don't really blame them for not coming here at all because there's NOTHING! surely this place deserves a bigger community. there are nothing wrong with these forums, they just need to be advertised elsewhere to attract members. I come here because its a refreshing change from the MZ forums. brighter, easier to use, etc. you can't post on the mz forums about your great player who's just improved in training, or whatever. so pleeeeeease lets make this place better and do something about it! this place has slowly been losing members... it used to be really good. sometimes there was a whole page of new posts and threads to look at... now, if i'm lucky, theres one. And thats usually in the 'Look Who I bought!" thread or the "Training Surprise" thread. Yawn. So anyway. More members=bigger, better community. The last thing i'd want is for these forums to die. i'm sure most of you (of the few that actually visit this place) agree with me.

rant over... phew.

Gone quiet I agree. I put a link in my WFO but doesn't seem to have done much.

But then again, at least this site works, unlike MZ itself which is sloooooowwwwwwwwww this evening.

I don't come here very much anymore mostly because I don't post about MZ much anymore. I can be found in the Open Discussion forum though ;)

Dunno about anyone else but I'm finding MZ in general boring now so it's nothing personal against this place. Look out for the best youth ever to hit the transfer list at the end of the season, among other players... :confused:

How in heck's name did leegoddavies get to be england's assistant manager by the way?? I wish him luck, but hardly a record of high achievement or even high activity! Cronyism?

moneybags... i agree... been in the year nearly a year longer than him, yet MFC says he has a 'good knowledge of the game'? Sure he's a nice guy, not quite sure if he deserves it though. I reckon Chris Boston should get it back, tbh.

Btw - seems some of you misunderstood what i was trying to say... I'm saying that this place (SoccerGaming) is getting boring, not MZ. Although I gotta admit that's losing its appeal as well. Like VV said... not as good as it used to be... i don't know what went wrong. I think its because of too many members... i preferred it back in the day when there was 50000 - 100000 members.

Yeh but if MZ is boring you're not gonna want to talk about it as much ;)

I liked it better with less members too... dunno if it's a coincidence or not.

Hey I didn't want to start a new thread about this, but can someone explain to me what is the "Sweden advantage"? Do they cheat or something? I notice they are very rich, and their players are insane. I undersatnd the creator of the game is Swedish, but not sure wtf that has to do with anything... unless he blatantly gives more cash to his own people :|

Yeah, this forum is dead, but mainly due to mz. Frankly i'm not too inerested in the game anymore, and it's just got dull and repetitive, with the game growing too fast 4 it's own good. Before when player prices were at a normal stance (when there was only about 200 000 members) each one of us would b scouring the market, buying and selling every player at the first chance we could get, but now some players r going for like £3mil!

I dunno, I've just lost interest.

The transfer market's crap. Youths can't be trained up to a reasonable standard (unless you're in div6). No one wants a team full of old, slow training players. Causes people to quit. Others then lose interest because all their friends are quitting. It's a fashion craze now. People quitting and selling off their whole team used to be a rare occurance. Now it happens several times a season. Now if you're getting bored of the game, why would you want to go onto another site dedicated to discussing it? I'm not surprised it's gone downhill here. I miss the days of buying a player with league income. Now I need to save the whole season and sell off ex-youths and a first team player to get someone in their mid- to late-twenties to replace a player about to enter his thirties. The retirement sucks because now you can't sell decent old players because they only have a few seasons left. A 22yo 9 tackling English defender got to £3m before a n00b Brazilian GA cancelled the transfer way before the deadline. I should stop there but you can see how much I want things to change from typing this out. I'm not sure if I'll enjoy it as much as I used to but I want to see my team do well still, England too. Or anyone beat the Swedes in the WC.
