FIFA 06 World Cup Xbox360 , Anyone Else Seen The Footage?


I seen 3 or 4 videos on Gametrailers.com (xbox360 section)


The last one I saw the ball physics looked a great deal better , Id have to play it to say if its in the PES class, but looking at the movement of the ball it looked a lot better ...

Anyone else seen the footage?

I saw ALL Fifa WC 2006 trailers...

Amazing graphics, I luv the pitch, the grass, and the TV camera view... (makes u wonder why Konami doesn't want to fix something as easy, simple, and stupid as the grass and TV camera view)

But the gameplay: HORRIBLE. DEAD AWFUL.

-The ball travels (or slides) between players at really high speeds.
-The overall play-making is horrible.
-The scored goals are A JOKE.
-90% of the goals were scored THE EXACTLY same horrible way. (Short range thru pass, 1 on 1)...etc
-Again, the scored goals were terrible, non-realistic (and not the good way), and boring.

VERDICT:
Amazing graphics, AWFUL AWFUL unplayable gameplay.

oh and as usual, the cut-scenes were non-realistic and too long. I'd give it 1-2 matches before every gamers starts skipping them.

Typical EA.

Now again, why the hell hasn't KONAMI taken any steps on improving the SIMPLE, EASY THINGS, like:
The TV camera angle.
The pitch/grass itself.
The score graphics on the top-left of the screen?
The stamina/player graphics on the lower sides of the screen?

These are all very simple, and would give the game a "clean" look....

well after looking at the gameplay movies I can see little improvement in ball fysics. I liked one example where the goaly save a shot and it bounces realistically back in the box (brazil vs. croatia)
But still the fysics arent good enough. Escpecially when a player controls a ball it still looks like it on a string. And when a player takes a shot the animations are too abrupt at times, it looks like he slides into the good position for the shot. In pes the player takes an extra step to get in the right position, in fifa this animations just get cutt off making it unrealistic.

The graphics are great, very great. But i still dont think the gameplay will get me warm.

I've played the game already on a HDTV(Samsung). The graphic is amazing. Every detail like the Nike Boots is picture perfect. But EA still got those annoying shiny effect. The gameplay on the other hand, doesn't have any record breaking stuff introduced.

But a cool they had was during loading, you could have a kick-about in a sort of an indoor place and you and your human team mate can have a shot at goal with a goalkeeper. Each controls only 1 player. (There are 2 players and 1 goalkeeper)

i think hes on about rtwc. from the vids it looks to me that they have got rid of the shiney players. looks to have a better framerate than rtwc as well, which in all honesty was a disgrace

Wow, that game really looks sh|t. The animations, basically everything about it. Look how corners are just shot into the box. I could find loads of other things as well. The graphics are amazing, though. Can't wait til PES/WE comes for the 360 and PS2.

Hey i played Fifa )6 world cup on xbox 360 my friend got it cuz he likes fifa i dont knwo why. I have to say it is a pretty well made game. comepared to fifa o6 for ps2 and all
