He plays in Newell's Old Boys in Rosario...I think he was very good in his time, he just ruined it for us when he responded agressively to Van Der Sar. I must say I used to love the way he played, he had so much ball control

of recent history mine would be Rosicky, just because I liked the guy so much, I nearly pissed myself when he was about to come to Chelsea, and now he is beyond average. Its sad

Yeah Recoba is just mind bogling. And its not that he cant do it. He completely runs over Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, etc etc but always fails to finish in the critical moment.

VS Brazil or Argentina he drives them crazy by himself (He's prob the only Uruguayan player who is at their level and even then some). But again, he'd like pass many players, create a great chance and somehow fail in the critical part of the game.

Really it can be said to his extreme lack of play time in Inter (he has become enemies with every coach he ever had and they cant stand him since the moment they meet him). He doesnt train to become better anymore, he just plays cause he can and makes money.

Recoba is all but dead to me.
