This is saying Galatasaray finished the transfer of Laurent Robert..30 year old French winger accepted the offer of Galatasaray..It's expected that Robert will be at Istanbul next week and sign for Galatasaray..
Robert played 4 season at Newcastle and after he loaned to Portsmouth then at 2006 he signed for Benfica..He was earning 190.000 euros from Benfica for month..

This news was seen nearly most of the Turkish newspapers and also this news confirmed at Cnn-Turk..

sol campell will be a good player for turkish league, but i believe Fenerbahce is doing a bad deal, i mean paying this much money for a 32 years old doesnt make sense, no matter what the name of the player is.
But Fenerbahce is a very rich club, so if they can afford it, what the hell :)

Walcott
Cole
Hoyte
Gilbert

But of those which will be picked, only 2 stand much chance.

I too am mightily confused

Campbell was in the brawl with the turkish squad before, and while Im not saying he would be so narrow minded, I dont think an Englishman would get the hottest reception in Turkey.

On top of that, he wants to leave London, his home, to go to Turkey of all places? Dont get me wrong, I feel like Arsenal have every right to dump him, especially for good money, after his walking out antics this year, but I feel like he could sign in France, Holland, or Scotland, all much closer to home, command a decent fee, and still be able to compete at the highest level

good for Gala that he's been good this season as you say, but knowing what I know of him I wouldn't mind a bit seeing him facing Porto in the CL in case we end up meeting :p


Robert has a nice left foot, he can cross very well and has a good shot. other than that, he's utter crap.
you can tell by the Benfiquistas' thoughts on him that the man's crap dude.

Probably the reason he prefers Turkey and not other countries in Europe is =
CASH :)
He is a proffesional player, what happened in the past is over, i m turkish and i dont have any problems with any english players, even though i hate Fenerbahce & support Galatasaray, i wish campbell the best if he comes to Turkey. and you can be sure he will be welcomed in the Airport with at least a thousand Fenerbahce fans , making him feel he is the king of Istanbul :)

curtis davies will most likely come our way if sol goes. dunno abt his quality though
