:funny: LMAO after Raul finally showes a bit of a improved form after 3+ years being more or less totally usless on the field (reining of the field) you want him to retire NOW ?

(ps not taking his age in account in anyway or that I don't rate the player generally unlike most other here)

the diference is that del piero does score goals or does something for the team ; raul doest do crap for real anymore; but if you meant that he is in the team for the simple reason that he is an icon like del piero for juve than i agree,

I think Raul has find his game and will have a better season then that last ones and we can't deny that his still an an icon for Real Madrid.

Raul is on the same level as the virgin mary in spain....he's THAT iconic. I dont quite get it but thats the truth. somehow theres something good that has to come from that NOW

Raul provided the forwards (Villa and Torres) very good deep passes, Ramos was very active in his wing (attacking constantly) and Casillas didn't have much work at all.

raul is much, much better then del piero

raul continues to work hard, even if he isnt performing. I dont think he should start every game, but come on, he doesnt need to retire :nape:

We all know he doesnt need to retire. Regardless if he works hard or not, the result isnt there. He will likely be playing less games this year unless things change for him. Lets just hope they do.

you mean in the past right?; cause rau wasl way better than a lot of players; but in the past ; del peiro is better than raul right now; but i agree i wouldnt go as far for him to retire; just sell him to a midtable club lol;;

its ironic that raul started to suck when zizou got to the team; it shows you that real were eagering for a new icon
