FIFA NEW Demo

OK bottomline: NO DIFFERENCE comparing this one to the first one.
The images in cutscenes are not great, it looks almost like slow motion sometimes but not all the time anymore like in the first demo.
Gameplay is the same although I do have the idea that they improved the sound some more for this demo.
Funny thing when I install Match Explorer from MD and I play in 'window' mode then everything runs much smoother again (:/)
And the game looks so much better in a 1280x1024 resolution that's obvious.
My setup:
P4 3,2 GHz
1Gb mem
ATI Radeon X850 XT 256mb DDR3 (soon X1900 XTX with 512mb
300gb Harddrive
Philips 190X6FB LCD Screen the colors and the brightness of the game are excellent on this screen

really no difference, i think its possible that this is still the old demo, as in the ea forums someone checked the readme and it still says 31/8/06, so that to me looks like we have all just been downloading the old demo yet again.
i can't see the demo on the large downloads page anymore, has it been taken off because of all the errors?

The biggest one has a CRC error your right, the other one I downloaded with EA downloader earlier tonight is another version 1 and not the new one so I was right about NO DIFFERENCE 
What is taking them so long
But one thing I did found out, you can easily import 2gk kits with KitRaptor 06 to The Fifa 07 demo so I think that goes for the full game as well when that comes out

So we we must have the eadownloader to cownload it?
I could install and play the first demo... but somehow I can't even install this updated demo: I have the latest directx 9.0c and the latest nvidia drivers for my FX5800 but it keeps telling me I don't have the latest directx... what a crap! more than 700Mb download for nothing...

You need to set the Autorun.exe file properties for "Windows 2000" compatiility mode before you try to run it to fix the DirectX issue. I don't know why but some of us in WinXP are running into this problem quite often.
Do this:
1) Right click on AutoRun.exe and click on [Properties].
2) Go on the compatibility tab and put a check box to run the file for Windows 2000 compatibility mode.
3) Then click [Ok] and try to double-click on the file to run it again.
You should be set to move forward with the installation. Hope this helps.
