Its not that Im having problems crossing its just that somethimes the defenders will swarm my ass and presurizing me.

My Team is Germany and there 2 strikers are Podolski and Klose, so often with either Klose or Podolski (they are left and right fowarders) I get to the side of the goal and then When I try to pass the defenders that were swarming me, and my ball is blocked, This doesnt happen often but it does happen and it really irritates me cause I dont know how to get out of that situation.

Ok i think maybe you should try and avoid getting into these positions, but it sounds like if you are possibly the best move is not to try cross it but play it backwards.

Also when you're in midfield try using/holding the Wing Play button (I think that's what WP stands for) to push your left and right mids and fullback wide instead of your strikers

yeah, if someone wanted to explain how the "strategies" on the num pad work, i'd be appreciative. I can turn them on and off, but it just doesn't seem to do anything.

Oh trust me they do something.

I like the Germans default stratagies, though I only tend to use the Flood the box when Im in corners.

Here is another question.

How can you injure an opposing team with minimal punishment. For example My friend often slide tackles my Ballack (which makes him injured and I have to substitute him) and only gets a yellow card, but when I try the guy isnt injured and I get a red :(

oh, i have no doubt that they actually do something, but i don't really know how to set them off... arrow up, arrow down or empty circle...????

I know that if you press the right arrow it says WP (Wing Play i presume) and makes your wingers run wide when you get the ball so you pass to one winger then switch the play with a long ball and the other winger is in lots of space.

Interesting, i'll try take note next time i play because i know i tend to injure players quite a bit, i know that if you slide tackle a player then let them play advantage then you won't usuallly get punished later even if it was a pretty bad tackle. In fact i dont think i have ever got a yellow or red from when the opposition plays on after i slide them illegally.

If you slide takcle and see the advantage thingo, if you let them get the ball and play on you won't be penalised

Sorry for lack of activity here but i just got Fifa 2007 and have been busy playing it instead of WC 2006
