I have just spoken with Konami UK to ask when the PES 6 Demo for the PC will be out and was told that:-

"there Will be NO Demo for the PC, because the Full Game will be out on the 27th October" :nape:

This is what I was just told, If you do not believe me here is the link to their customer support phone number:-

http://uk.gs.konami-europe.com/contact.do

What are they playing at there is at least 4 weeks until they release the Full game so why NOT??? :nape:

Oh my god.

I'ts very suspicious when developers don't release a demo (even though there's a ps2 demo), and usually it means the game is fecking ****e, and 'if it's true' why the feck didn't they tell us quicker ............... and the fecking ps2 game is out in four weeks too, what the fek is going on.

Well, if the game is ****e, it'll be sent back for a refund as quick as it was opened. :nape:

We'll, that's what demo's are for, try before you buy.

At least EA released a demo for fifa 07 even if it is ****e, which we knew it would be pish in the first place :) , but konami not releasing a pc demo are sending out the wrong signals ....

This only can be bad news, if they not release a demo that's why something's wrong with PC platform...

I don't know if i'll buy the game... many people will download it before buy this way...

If this happens, the assumption that Konami don't give a **** about the pc gamers is true and the pc version will probably not be next gen.

But then I saw this preview which is supposedly for the pc, look at the graphics !!!

They can only be xbox 360 pics seeing it's the only next gen version ?

They care less and less every year. The release dates slip every year and less and less progress seems to happen between each version. I remember thinking when PES3 came out how great the game would be by PES5/PES6 but to be honest, I think PES3 was more fun, had less cheating and the ML structure was better. What did we get last year, auto-sidesteps, no crowd, no weather in league/cup games, fouls every 30 seconds and the amazing "gravity ball" whereby the ball automatically attracts itself when lose to the CPU controlled player to a higher degree depending what skill level you're playing on.

Can't wait to see what bugs they've given us this year. Konami have got lazy. It may be the best soccer game in the world but they clearly have taken their foot off of the accelerator and don't seem interested in progress. How many years have we been asking for a better ML structure or at least a more customizable one where you can select the number of divisions, etc. A lot of you might think FIFA is crap but look what they did this year, a realistic handball system, dynamic weather, improved (but still behind Konami) gameplay, etc. At least EA listened to the most common complaints, Konami haven't listened to one single thing we complained about last year.

This will definitely be one to download because if they can't be bothered to release a demo then I'm not parting with my money to risk buying basically a bug-fix to PES5.

This isnt a reason. So why they'll release the demo for PS2 on a magazine next week?
Very confusing, Konami...

I don't know, last years demo was nowhere similar to final product and they were tweaking it till the gold stage... Also, since this years edition is being developed primarily on pc, i would say they will care about this platform more from now on... Still i'd like to know whether we'll get nextgen version or ps2 port - and if nextgen, what requirements will it have

We surely won't get a ps2 port, what would be the problem with the pc having next gen graphics, if you have a powerful enough pc to display the next gen graphics, then that would be beneficial because you have a good pc, if you don't have a pc powerful enough then you would lower the grahpical settings to suit your pc spec.

It surely is as easy as that.

(Y) My thoughts exactly. That's what they get. Anyway, no need for all the drama in this thread with expressions such as "OMG". Chill, if the game is good : You'll pay, cos you want them to have money, so they can invest and keep up the good work. On the other hand, if you feel they are simply robbing the loyal fanbase they've built in the past, do what you gotta do.

I don't feel anything man, i was talking about "if's". Possibilities. I have no clue whether not launching a demo is a good or bad sign. I'll download it, and if I think they made a good work, adding the realism their fans seek, I'll buy it.
