the game-speed seems realistic to me, the gameplay looks much more realistic. Movements with leaning, etc...well that's questionable. I sometimes lean when playing, but hey! To each his own. Some players' move differently.

Yep, I agree, I think the speed of the game is fine. Not sure why you would want it any slower than that, to be honest.

Yup 360 is next-gen console. Until everyone owns hardware that can be pushed as far as a next-gen console, you won't be seeing EA make a 360-FIFA game for the PC.
Although many game companies making stunning pc games that can compete with next-gen, the risk of requiring the consumer to have a super-pc is high, however you usually get a decent frame-rate when everything is turned down low (Doom 3 for example on my machine only has a good FPS when everything is lower) and then it looks crap compared to next-gen. Like I said, you need the latest gear. I'm upgrading soon, but the price of that is probably more than a 360 console.

And no editing! Pc all the way, just for that!
That's why if FIFA 07 turns out to be a goody on the 360, i might buy it. But if PES6 was just as good but slightly better gameplay, i'd still stick with FIFA as there is no editing on pes6, just crazy konami.
I will buy PES 6 for the pc, as there's some fantastic patches that will be done for it and it'll be way better than fifa this year.
I just wish ea or konami would do proper research into the pc market, as we get ****e ports from other systems.
So Fifa08 and Pes7 had better have a massive improvement come next year or there will be hell to pay.

Looks pretty damn good to me. The speed is right and it doesn't look like iceskating at all. Very realistic. I just hope the keepers aren't such a douche in the full game as in that one movie clip. Geez. Other than that, can't wait for this shizzle.

well they told us road to the world cup and world cup 2006 was going to be the best thing since sliced bread but it was just fifa 2006 with slightly better graphics or was that just me

I ordered World Cup 06 and the stupid idiots send me RTWC 06...I played it anyway and that game was certainly worse than FIFA 06. No, what a piece of **** that was. I'm playing FIFA 07 on the PC now and I am really enjoying it, it's very different from 06
