hold the left analog, while your pressing the shot or cross button, in the direction you want it to curl. The longer you hold the left analog in a direction the more it will curl. For example, hold it left it curls left, hold it down and to the left it curls left but with some air under the shot/cross, etc.

I'll work on doing that tonight. Bare in mind I am ET USA, so UK folk might not see it until tomorrow. Also, the quality might be low to get 5 mins of video at a file size where I can upload.

So, I hear it's great, I hear it sucks... How can this be? Intentional bad reviews from anti Fifa people, Konami staff, etc? I am a hardcore WE/PES fan but started my soccergaming with Fifa International Soccer 94...all the way up to Fifa 2004. After that it was WE all the way. BUT, I have high hopes for this 360 version. I am aprehensive with Fifa titles but hoping for the best. I don't know who to trust with these reviews and don't feel like waiting 3 hours to download the demo. I'll just pick it up unless it gets horrible reviews like WC one. From a 1-10, what do you guys give the demo? rate the demo compared to other demos, not full versions.

Well I give this a demo a 8.5 and this is why?
First off no commentary so thats a point off right away! Next is the graphics, now I know it looks 10x better than WE/PES but the players look like plastic dolls but I guess you can't have everything right. The player collisions are still a little sluggish and there is a little pause between ball possessions at times. I also wish there was a little more jostling in the game, current -gen is pretty sweet when it comes to this.
NOW to the main seller THE GAMEPLAY, yes people THE GAMEPLAY!!! EA has finally done it with this one; licenses, commentary, sound, and gameplay all in one package. I know some license are not in 360 version but I really only play with the major leagues anyway, which are in the game.
Now to the gameplay. First let me just say that you will learn how to play FIFA all over again. And trust me once you start getting use to the new engine, thats when you start realizing how this is the best soccer engine you have ever played. The ball now has a life of its own, the players move so realistic ( have to admit had to get used to the feet planting thing ) but hey thats what makes it realistic. Tricks or not the game what still fun to play!!! The sound is the best I've heard in any FIFA game. The crowd is simply amazing and deafening after a score. Overall I have no doubt in my mind that the full version will play better than the demo and thats something that I'm counting the days till. :rockman:

First of all I disagree with most of the above's post... and rate it 6/10!

Let's be realistic and really objective. There are some serious flaws in the game e.g. no tricks per se; no jostling; collision can be horrendous; there are still sweet spots in the game from which you can score easily; corners are scripted; AI is still quite dumb; through balls work too well to be realistic; responsivness is inconsistent; feels a bit slugish at times; can't feel difference between individual players (they all play the same, with few fancy moves here and there) most importantly they all shoot the same; there is no feeling of playing with different teams... etc...

I hope it is still just a demo and that final product will be a lot better than this...

I'll still get it just like I got all others before but based on the demo alone it is only marginal improvement over WC2006.

Before anyone starts flaming let's clear somthing up: I'm a football fan and I always play both PES and Fifa... It doesn't matter which one is better, they both have their own incredible stuff... and only playing them both you get to experience total football video game experience... so stop with the immature nonsense of "fanboyism"!!!

Do you really think I would just take the time and make all this up? I really don't care if there's no trick stick but right stick should have some implementation on at least first touch moves or something similar.

Leaves many things to want for next year.

You can choose which one, just hitting the regular shoot button will lace shot power blast it and holding the RB button down with you hit the shoot button will side foot it/curl it.

Also to the guy who didn't want to wait '3 hours' ... it's worth it, don't trust what you read, play it for yourself.

Now that you have proved that there are no specific skills moves..ALOU......I think I can speak for people who love football for the free flowing gameplay , free ball physics to play as realistic football as possible and say..........................SO WHAT ABOUT NOT HAVING TRICKS :kader:

Because there are alot of hear say and lies going around this and many other forums right now.............and you could hardly call it going out of his way :rolleyes: He had already quoted what the EA admin had said ...so I asked for a link .......BIG DEAL :nape:
