Tips and tricks for the AI in this game

Ok last night was my first game playing world cup cause my friend would not play me in fifa 06 anymore saying to me its all a cheat and the ai is pathedic.

I come to wc and i beat him (2-2) in a penalty shootout which was australia vs brazil and of course i was brazil.

Then he uses germany and i got rorted 5-1,4-0,4-1,4-1,4-2,4-0.

Mind you all these games where over a 6 hours period because i wanted to figure out how he was doing what he was doing.

His formation is very wierd but he has everyone stacked in his own half of the field on D# that just will not budge and when he comes on attack he has a midfielder and two strikers which he manages to hit about halfway in my half then put a through ball to poldoski every f'n time to beat my 3 defenders.




Basically in this digram you are seeing the orange dots which is the ball moving and the black dots is the striker coming to meet the ball then once they both meet thats where they beat my D# every time. Can someone explain how to counter attack this or do something good to f him up.

Ok now ive got a screenshot from a game where this happens. His defenders are always surrounding the goal filling the gaps and i have no way 2 break it atm and he always gets this situation with my D# being flat and i have no idea what im doing wrong.(be aware that isnt him playing thats the cpu so the formations are different but i noticed the cpu was doing the same thing and i want to know how i stack my goal)

Yer can someone explain 2 me what im doing wrong, i severly need help and i ant scoring anything either

Ok after learning something i just wanna check if ppl believe its true.

A person told me that germany have a hiddden advantage in this game. I just prooved it playing the same person who has a tally of like 5-1,4-1,4-1,4-1,5-1 against me and then i turn it into a 3-2 win by me.

Has this already been discussed because its really shtted me off.

Sorry this forum seems to have a lack of communication. Ummm Ass for Germanies Supperoir Deffence I dont know (what difficulty you playing on) although All I can recomend and often is Through Ball (Default W) which is like passing to a player but you pass to a spot on the field where he runs for it, thus no offside, etc..

Also check your strategic settings, ie. Check on the numpad and press Q for defence rules, maybe something is funky there. I dont understand why the deffenders wont budge, but also when he is coming towards you, always charge them from the front and tackle, also press Q when takling as another player will come support. But if he still goes through, and the ball goes through the net just remember, the brazilian goalie, SUCKS. The German goalie (Oliver Kahn is like the best).

So perhaps try another team, try Argentina they are kick ass
