Match XP

It's been really annoying lately, I'm halfway through the season and I have about 6-7 players who filled their "Match XP" bar, but none of them increased in their rating or any of the skills. They all were "in development stage and grows fast naturally"

So what's the "Match XP" thing about if it does not increase player skills?

Lastly, when do the player skill increase? In the off-season?

Sometimes when the bar is filled, they don't increase a level, but some of their stats do. It's usually 2-3 bars filled before they 'level up'.

Just wait until the start of your next season, all your players stats will go up to what their predicted growth was for the year.

None of the many skills improved, I checked it.


So the skills don't grow slowly, but "jump" to what is said in player's growth during the off-season?

I think that the MatchXP system is fatally flawed. I saw some minor changes early on in my manager mode (first half a season or so) including one player who actually went up a level but since then every player that reaches 100 XP shows no increases at all. I think XP was designed to allow players to grow a little during the season, because you gave them actual match experience, but it looks like it is bugged. They do grow as expected between seasons though

I'm in my season 4, and saw 4 or 5 of my players increase their level. I guess each player has a different growth ability. Usually it takes about 2-3 filled bars to get them grow anything.

Just finished my first season, every player growed to what was predicted. Now the Match XP really looks stupid to me :/
