CEP07 3.0 Released

Please, read the CEP website, seems like we are writing/talking about a no-problem:



I don't know what more I can do to explain the VERY SIMPLE point that you will be able to use your CM as soon as we release a specific CEP version together with Rinaldo. Please, use your time to read CEP website instead of starting prophetic announce of disgraces upon the world of free thought (this is for the honest guys, for the others: ).

I wonder where you got the idea of a chants add-on and the balls and shoes you add to the CEP... Of course I know where, and I even authorised your co-developper Esterry to use all my sound packs in the CEP chants add-on, though I could, after all your buddies came to insult me in my Breamster forum thread for thief and more nice words last year after the realisation of my Best of Fifa06 patch, tell him to go cook an egg, I didn't, and gave my autorisation anyway, because contrary to your CEP gang of egocentric idiots, I put the community interest before my own.

Remember, "What you see in others is merely a reflection of yourself" says an ancient Chinese rime, something you might think about if you ever get out of your ego trip, which I doubt but hey, miracles can happen.

BTW, if someone wants to (ab)use your database, it is still doable, there is no encryption or trick that can't be cracked, and by writing this I'm not referring to myself, I'm not interested and won't put much effort into Fifa07 other than an Italian mega-sound patch, as this year's version is a big dissapointment memory-handling wise, it's crashing far more than Fifa06 when trying to use double textures for example, so yes the gameplay improved but the realisation and editability is a huge leap backward.

Also after reading the bad comments your CEP gets in the german forums (they say it's full of errors, a direct out of date copy of CEP06, and 65% of GFO visitors find it bad according to the poll on their front page, http://www.gfo2007.de) I think you destroyed the popularity of your own patch by crypting your database, but hey it's not you Ockham, it must be EA, or all the stupid users that don't comprehend your superiority or are too dumb to read a manual or maybe it's Billy that influences the world and steals your stuff to make millions of dollars with it.

I agree with you on some parts and I think the best idea for massive fifa editing is something like "FIFA07 Editor", a FIFA wikipedia or smth...

I wonder why you got banned about three times on these forums needing to re-re-register every time, if you are soo wise Billy.. Some older mods maybe can lighten the others on your past conquers for freedom.

If users spend 5 minutes reading the faq and the site, they will find the answer to almost every complaing raised during these two days. Example:

I find all of this to be very stupid, specially when this patch started as and still is a collaboration between many people; I still remember when all this started for 06 and it was back then when some people were calling OckHAM a "thief"... I said back then and repeat today; this is not about "stealing", what makes the community strong is the actual sharing, unselfishness, and a key word, openness.

I'm sorry, I gave great deal of props to the CEP; I still think it is a huge and marvelous work and I'm sure nobody wants to take credit away where credit is due; however, by principle I just refuse to use a crippled database, for me this is about being open, share with others and make things better.

I only got banned one time smart boy. And that was for something you obviously have no clue about and dates from the middle ages. The argument I had with you was just the pretext for an ex-moderator of these forums to ban me for life, a thing he promised me (and I can prove it) a long time before you honoured us with your presence on the Fifa forums, the two next times was because I just admitted my true identity and the bright brains aka the new moderators thought it would be manly to ban an old convict again.

Obviously you can't do nothing wrong, are error free, like the career crashes were the result of EA's bad programming (a direct quote from you on the sweetpatch forums) and their unwillingness to help you with your perfect patch.

So it's no use guys, argumentation and disccusion are words that are not in Ockham's dictionary, it's easier to talk to a wall. I'm also convinced that around this time he used up his mouse left button by clicking on the report post button to get me banned again lol.

to me it is the principle of the thing...releasing a special edition to work with CM was an tacked on after thought because there was such backlash against the program to begin with....you attempted to keep people from STEALING a freeware program that you don't (to my knowledge) own a copyright too by locking us out of the dB...why? because it is impossible to improve on your work? I couldnt agree more! Honestly the only reason I downloaded CEP last year was for the kit pack updates that saved me alot of time and disk space. Personally, I always thought of 'mods' as a way to get rid of most of the "busy" work and focus just on crap I want to add and edit. I'm not really sure who would want to steal anything from the CEP, if only because everyone worth anything already contributes to the stupid patch anyway. Plus, isnt saying you're doing something right in your editing for someone to steal something from it? I mean, no one wants to steal dog crap, do they?

Man, I can't wait until next year when EA locks the db themselves. Wonder what 'breakthrough' ockham's boys will come up with next. Pretty soon, he's going to have someone else start writing code for his own football game.

Good luck with CEP, Ockham. I think this is the first time someone put out a patch that actually made the game worse, which I almost though impossible.

Comma, you wrote the same things last year so frankly your "attendibility" is a bit low. Last year you spend about 1 month insulting me and everyone can check on the old CEP06 thread, so if this is your hobby this year too I'm glad you have nothing better to do. First of all you should inform yourself boy, before getting on your high horses. The webmaster of Fifamania (Rimo) contacted me, I replied him by mail and was never asked to remove the stuff as it was properly creditted so stop pulling so called information out of your ass thank you very much.

Secondly, I responded on fifamania itself, in their forums, to these wrongful accusations, which they are, now if you got the balls we can still discuss this in private, capice? Just send me a pm and I'm your man, anywhere in Europe.

Then maybe I should forward you copies of my correspondence with him, huh, hun? Anyway, discussion terminated, you should marry Ockham, you sound like his type LMAO.

I repeat, I never, ever got a request by mail, in the forum or anywhere else to remove the Serie C2 (because that's all I got from the Fifamania superpatch in the BOF06) from BOF06. Never. I even reworked it to the latest rosters and improved the kits from 1GK to 2GK, so it's not a copy and paste job either.

On the other hand I got requests from Fifa Serbia and Fifa Romania to remove their data from the patch and so I did. Technicaly I didn't have to, try to sue me for example, but as a sign of goodwill, and to prove I was not some thief but rather someone that regrouped the best of fifa06 in an easy autoinstalling patch for the non nerds to use without getting headaches, I did as requested, should I have received an official request from Fifamania authors, which I respect a lot, I go there from the beginning in 2000 and I use their superpatches in my game every year, then I would have removed it too, np or hard feelings. So I sure as hell don't know why suddenly you come here, register for the occasion, and pull that crap out of your ass, unless you want to defend your boyfriend Ockham against the evil Billy thief that impregnated all his Sims in his favorite EA game!

Ok, so at the end of the Fifa06 era, right before Fifa07 got published I released a Best of Fifa06 patch that regrouped the best that was made by enthousiasts like you and me for that game, as a sort of all in one patch available to the grand public that don't have a degree in informatics and regroups and compatibilises the best.

I did it to make Fifa more popular and I added the credits below :

Important remarks!
1. Using this patch in combination with my sound packs found here can be addicting! Go get them and be on the lookout for my next sound mega patch!
2. You can use the creation centre 06 safely with this patch except one feature, NEVER rebuild the fat files with the internal CC06 function as it supports only a maximum of 30 graphic data files, this patch contains 34! This can corrupt your patch! Should you do this by inadvertence, immediately rebuild the fat and bh files with the fatbhbuilder found in the kitraptor program, then execute the FMregenerator06.exe file found in your root Fifa06 directory to try fix this. Sometimes CC06 uses its internal builder automatically when you insert for example minikits or other graphics with it into the game, just use the method described above also in that case.
3. This patch is not compatible with the ECP snow patch, I’m sorry but this was not feasible as that particular patch conflicts with my database and the turfs added by the Best of Fifa06 patch.
4. Should your game crash at the start with an Fifa06.exe error, please run FMregenerator06.exe from within your Fifa06 directory to correct the problem.

Now, I am convinced this generated more traffic and publicity to the websites of the authors because my patch got downloaded over 15,000 times and I got compliments from most newbie users who were dreaming of such a patch because they screwed up their game too many times installing one patch on top of the other.

From the editor community however I got almost nothing than hate, suddenly I was the great Satan, the infidel from hell and suddenly there was a prize on my head.
