Stuck in HalfLife 1

In the episode where you first meet a gargantua, I've managed to go the engine room after killing a number of Hazardous Environment Combat Units at the far end. I've turned on the engine but I don't know what to do next or where to go. Im looking for a solution to completing this game on ps2.

Oh, it's been a while since I played it. If I remember rightly, you have to get down to these two generators and switch them on. One of them is jammed up with wreckage, as I recall. You can't beat Gargantua, so you have to switch the two generators on (you have to cut across the courtyard thing with the train in it. Use the army guys as cover, as Gargantua will deal with them) and then go on from there.

After you've got the generators on, that powers up the rails and you can use the train to ride out of the area.
