From these screenshots I can see a difference graphically as opposed to last year's. Adriano has a distinct goatee and his hair color is different.

damn, that's good... wouldn't want to play a game without Adriano's goatee.

this might have been answered somewhere else, but why were so many leagues cut from next gen FIFA 07?

Just looked at the gameplay clips for this game at www.gametrailers.com and it looks no different gameplay-wise from Fifa 07, even the net physics (or lack there of) have not changed. It's a no purchase for me...I'll stick with 07

Doesn't look like the problem with players waiting for the ball to come to them has been fixed. Hopefully they at least fixed the thing with players being stuck on a straight line path to the ball.

EA doesn't care. I'd rather wait for FIfa 2008...although that will probably be sh!tty as well. I am seriously going to send EA's team certified formal letters with an intention of becoming an advisor to them.

Just saw the video. It's Fifa 2007 with different adboards and Adriano sporting a goatee....ummm...net physics are still way off and well...doesn't look too promising at all. I'll wait for FIFA 2008 (but won't hold my breath).

No I m happy to see the improving

I can see some points that they improved:

- FIFA07 played crashed and brounce off but in UEFA...see Penant at sideline jostle with the defender good!!
-Graphic better, night stadium is awsome...better flood light rendering, no more "too many contrast", no more super dark and super light, no more like a table lamp shining on the pitch GOOD!!!!
-Through ball is better, ground pass is more responsible
-Number ate Liverpool's jersey is true Adidas number good!!!
-Stadium more detail and texture enhanced GOOD

anymore u can see?? I think they are in a good way and waiting for FIFA08 a lot
why some ppl think UEFA is no good? why???:bob:

looks improved to me, but you can only tell once you feel the game at your fingertips! Playing it is very much different from watching as we all know.

I hope it feels more exciting, rewarding and it certainly more challenging to score and break the defence. I also hope for smarter AI on both sides.

judging by those trailers, it looks pretty damn good to me...

the music rocks but other than that it looks like the same thing as fifa 07. The night stadiums look better, shading looks cleaner, crowd unisonism is still there which makes the visual atmosphere blah, players do look better graphically, the squares of the nets look a little bigger than what they should be, and the adboards are way too far away from the pitch. I remember seeing Stamford Bridge's adboards which are normally right behind the goal like 10 yards away from the goal in FIFA 07. You need to get a little better authenticity with those details. As to gameplay, its exactly the same. Players are reacting way to slow, the speed of the game is fine, but the players reactions' are abysmal. Theres no automatic moving to the ball in the game that made FIFA 07 suffer and I believe that you need to have this to simulate proper football. Seems like same **** different year, but the features have brought me over. I will be buying this game as the past Champions League 2004-2005 game, I play from time to time on my NTSC PS2 because of how addictingly fun it was. Better than any other soccer game I played, including FIFA 07 for the 360. I'm counting on it to be just as good.

someone on another forum mentioned that UEFA 07 is being made by redwood ea (world cup 06), and not vancouver ea (fifa 07). after comparing videos it does look more like the recent world cup game then it does 07, a huge negative for me since i believe 07 was on the right track. although it may just be the similar far away camera view in the current gameplay videos released. anyone have an idea?

hey what forum u are talking abt??
yes i know its from redwood EA
but i think the engine is continuing develope ....not a new things
so i hope its good things from FIFA07 + good things (like graphic) from WC06......

Why are there still a lack of officials on the pitch? I just don't get it... That's just not good enough for a next-gen game... Plus, the extremely short intro- and cutscenes don't seem to have improved much either... Seems like the goal celebrations are probably just gonna be present for like 2 secs again.... It doesn't quite contribute to the atmosphere.... Gameplay overall doesn't look much different... But I agree with NK on the fingertips part - let's wait and see when a demo (hopefully) comes out....

To be honest with you guys and to be perfectly truthful, especially with past variations of the FIFA product from EA. I would most certainly expect UEFA07 to be a much more licensed and visual upgrade rather than a new gameplay experience.

If you're wanting the definitive football game wait for FIFA 08. FIFA 07 360 is by far the best gameplay for a FIFA game, innovative and entertaining but not without its faults. If EA iron out the bugs in the engine, up the difficulty and make the shooting much harder to master, we'll have a winner.

Right now, FIFA 07 compliments gamers who don't play true football and you can score some really, dirty cheap goals. That's the main gripe. You DON'T have to play the game the way it's meant to be played. This is bad. FIFA 08 should require true football skill to win, not Ronalidinho sprinting!

NK.

EA have no idea on how to develop a good football game.... Expect this to be another cashcow with slight tweaks from FIFA 07.....
