Once again the 360 gets the sh!tty end of the stick. Only 5 leagues? Fifa 2007 has 6!!!! Is Fifa 2008 gonna have 4 leagues? Maybe I'll buy it for my PS2 instead! Seems like there is a bias towards the 360. PS2 version even have weather effects! and 20 something leagues! Unbelievable!

What about teams that are not in those 5 leagues but are in the Champions League?

Celtic?

Porto?

Any of the teams knocked out in the previous stages?

A proper 06-07 Champions League game should have every team that was in the event so I could choose Široki Brijeg or B36 if I wanted.

The 16 teams that were in the Champions League group stages this year not in the German, English, Spanish, French or Italian leagues were:

Mate, Calm down, it will be ok..............6 leagues in 07 was only 6 leagues because of the Mexican league, which really isnt needed for the European competition known as the Champions League

I think it's probably a bad thing that there is no list of teams already.

To me that says they are not proud of the list of teams in the game and do not want to piss everyone off pre-purchase.

Sounds like the first person to purchase it who posts on here will be the only one who truly knows what teams are in the game.

You're right. Fifa 2007...360 version...if you notice, the back of the box lists the number of teams in numbers and the number of leagues in words, meaning they were embarrased of the few leagues. The soundtrack was just listed...only 11 songs! At least they are good artists like Brasilian Girls, Thievary Corp, etc. Anyway, this game will be even skimpier than 2007. I think it's an unwritten rule to strip next gen games. That seems to be the trend.

I think that in future when the current-gen machines are phased out then there will be no problem as there will be 100% commitment to the next-gen then!

These are troubled times for consoles. The current gen dev teams are so scaled down now with most companies putting all the man power on the Next Gen games. The puzzling thing is that there is no compulsion to maintain the feature list of current gen titles. I don't think anyone here would mind if FIFA 07 360 became FIFA 08 360 with just gameplay fine tuning and all the teams of the current gen versions plus the CG career mode.

I mean horror show of horror shows with the PES series even removing (or not including) the editing. It's just madness.

Champions League looks ace after viewing those gameplay vids at IGN. Shame it will have 30 teams only. (I don't know that for sure, just cynically speculating)
