Guys please help me out here. Last Fifa game I played was 2002 and I have no idea about the fancy techniques but I just need a little help with shooting.

Insutrctions say circle button or R1+circle for a better shot. Everytime I even tap the circle button the ball goes sky high and flying over the bar. I have scored 3 goals in 10 matches or something.

Its getting frustrating and ruining the game for me.

Dou you let go of the sprint button when you shoot? That will help. I had problems befor i got used to releas it as i tok the shot.

R1 + O is for a lob. Try shooting only with O. Cheers!

Starting XI
Practice getting used to the varying length you hold the shoot button in the loading arena. It takes a while to get the hang of it, but keep a keen eye on the power bar. You can experiment on what works best for you there and not have to worry about a game at the same time.
