9 mins to go...and i dun even think we can salvage a draw. what a terrible weekend! This squad definitely cannot be compared the one we had during the 98/99 season. I have noticed a trend. Whenver the opposition scores 1st we struggle.

Geez you guys are so pessimistic

Fernandez: I agree that we didn't deserve a win, but a point, totally deserved. Spurs had a great first half, but second half was all about United. The last 15 minutes, Spurs couldn't even get close to our area and if not for a few great last-ditch tackles from Tottenham defenders, we would have won. It was our fault that we didn't get a sense of urgency earlier and would take too long on passes. Sure we didn't play as well as today, but a draw absolutely deserved for both sides.

Well this is the first time we have came from behind to salvage anything.

That's because we barely had to do it this season. How many times have we been drawing or losing in the last 5 minutes this season? Just last week we were 1-0 down at Spurs.

Team Captain
Gotta give credit where its due to Tottenham.

I thought the turning point of the game was the introduction of Anderson and Nani. They gave us so much energy. Nani needs to start more games. 2 assists in two games. He can offer much more to the team than a 34-year-old Giggs.

And I think Rooney was a bit stupid today with his dive for the penalty. He was looking for it but he got booked, and he will miss the derby. Pity the lad because he didn't dive into tackles like he used to. But it will teach him to stay on his feet more.

HA! Anybody watching this on TVUPlayer? Some guy that's streaming Setanta, switched channels to Playboy TV during the commercials :D Some show called Totally Busted was on.

About the game, we are not playing too well. Spurs seem more hungry for this. Both teams are playing pretty dirty and challenging late, especially Hargreaves and Woodgate. Jenas is like a sack of potatoes dives left and right. Let's hope that we can turn this around 2nd half.

I've seen that happen before as well. Guys from the chat room on the side kept saying they'd rather watch the playboy channel.

Mark cletenburg should be fined for his woeful performance. Giving out yellow cards like giving out candy. And on certain occasions...he was very inconsistent.

Yeah, those guys are ridiculous. Act like 10 year olds, which they probably are.

For Christ sake, people, it wasn't Tevez but an own goal by that guy Dawson.
Everybody praised Tevez cos he started to wave his shirt like a hooker on a strip, but the real thing is he didn't score it. Hargreaves played disappointing, so did the attack.
Fergie needs to shake it up a little bit, it's obvious l'Arse will get easy points with the refs giving them some backup, like they did with not calling off that Eduardo goal last weekend..

Yeah, but Tevez was there to apply the pressure for the goal and had Dawson missed it, Tevez would have scored. And personally, i don't care if Tevez scored or the keeper himself caught the ball and carried it into the net, at the end of the day its a goal and we got a point.
