Retro Patch 2008

Toonies,
Only a few people here are concerned about this patch and you are one of them.I dont have enough time like I had before to do everything.GIGGI will not be able to help us anymore because he has lost everything.This is a big set back.I will do my best with the help of bullddoo to complete this patch.If more can help then I might be able to release a public version but I need atleast another 2 or 3 kit makers to complete this patch and to complete I mean to make this patch great.

We have great works like NASL,your belgian league 70s kits and so on but some body has to step up and make kits.

maybe we can start with just some teams
say, if you have the argentinian teams you said, you can release those, or the uefa champions patch, wc 1930-2006

i don't know, maybe that way, we can get them faster
right now, i'm having some trouble with my wireless mouse/keyboard that doesn't let me do too much with my pc, but i think on the weekend i can update all the kits i've got and release the ones that i haven't posted yet

plus, the final exams season is killing me

Yes as i said we seems to have good materials already.
NASL, UEFA Champions, Belgian teams etc. We have to focused on that to finalize. And after that looking for some missings and we will have a good patch.
Im still working on kits like Wolves, Rangers and some teams you asked for UEFA.
Why not a ckeck up of what we are sure to have. We really have....

@slowhand:That was exactly my plan to release the first version with few teams.BTW Good luck for your exams .

@Toonies:We have almost all possible teams.I have completed more than what is required as far as the database work is concerned.It is just the kits that we have to complete to release this patch.

@Zeuz:If you can make kits it will be great.

Thats why you have made a backup first! , Lot of job of many people because you dont made a backup for your files. I had ask you many months ago to share some of your done files but you didnt want. If you share your files maybe the path still alive.

Any way... the dream is down! and the next gen of fifa 09 is around the corner.

Its incredible how many people here have problems with their pc when the thing is on the rails. As i already said for NASL,
i m asking if some person here ask contribution and keep it for themselfs ..... and ho my pc is broken.... easy

Let me make one thing clear to you toonies and to others-Dont blame GIGGIRIVA,it was an accident.Only 2 have worked hard for this patch excluding me and they are bullddoo and slowhand.If I have to apologize to anyone,then I have to apologize to them.

If its okay for you its okay for me. I have nothing to lost as i only sent you some files for Belgium. I know that my contribution was not the greatest but my expectation was great. Thats sad thats all

I did not mean to hurt you.I meant to say that there was only a loss of time.You did try to help but everybody have their own responsibilities like family,work,education and other commitments. As GIGGI was working alone on the graphics,he alone had all the files so the data could not be recovered.The point I am making is that there is no point in blaming GIGGIRIVA or anybody else as nothing can be gained by making such comments.The best possible thing to do would be to support people during such situations.Initially I was devastated but now I feel that I have to move on.I do what I can do best and that is to make db,faces,minifaces,etc.I have also learnt to make kits but unfortunately I dont have time to complete this big project.I thank you for your help but you can clearly see that your expectations could not be met due to these circumstances.The best possible thing to do would be to assemble a big team to complete the work soon but only a few seem to be interested.
