cant believe there buying Tevez for 33 million? Seems a little extreme? Not to say he's not that good just wasn't expecting it to be that high. I guess the owners can bump it up after he's settled, wants to join, man u wants him to join and he's done so well.

you have too be real careful bulking up players that have blistering pace. if they go too quickly there is the chance of losing a yard or 2 of the players pace. snf you dont want that.

Paper talk I suspect, be worth it though just to see the Arsenal fans' reactions when he played at the Emirates! Henry is a class player, but I would think Fergie would be looking for someone in line with his recent policy (young players on the verge of greatness) Huntelaar, Benzema or Santa Cruz would be my likely candidates.

Not to us in anycase. Daniel Levy fell for the Sun's misquoting hook. line and sinker and he's still pursuing his report to the FA - Whereas Benitez tapped Keane up and Spurs sold him! Idiot.

As I've said, I'd prefer us to get someone younger for the kind of money we were being asked for Berbatov. BTW Who said £35M was too much for Tevez? He's an awesome player and the sooner we get him signed to a permanent deal the better.

I mentioned it seems a bit high, but I guess that's the price you pay for a guaranteed success from a private owner. I think the deals as good as done now.

well it was coming. I never thought for once eagles wld cut it at united and i was right. Good luck to the kid though. He wld fit perfectly into a mediocre team. At least he has got a senior goal for all those yrs at united.

Nxt cld be Lee martin IF he doesnt step up in a yr or 2.

He was from the AS Roma youth team. Apparently being labeled as the next Francesco Totti.

Ole's Testimonial has just passed. Campbell scored the only goal. The finish was cool as f*ck. I hope he bulks up. His pace is terrifying. And Tevez was a beast again. There was a run in the first half from our half to the Espanyol penalty box and passed to Nani who crossed but Espanyol players cleared.
