No, the new template is a combination of 07 and 08

well we dont know if it is the new 09 template or not but it is the same as 08 one

i say EA tries some PES **** and get better boot and kit templates. Also they should include an armband template on the kits.

yeah an armband place on the kit template would be great

don´t think so... i hated those armband temps in fifa 06 and 2005... now i´m awaiting fifa 09!

you clearly don't listen. it's NOT THE SAME, but it's very similar! dude..no i dont hate EA, without them i wouldn't play fifa or fifa manager.

yes, The template is almost the same but sure the model mapping will be different (I hope the model itself will have more points, if not the template is much better than 08).

May be EA makes some horrible mistakes in their games but this doesn't mean we should hate them.

I tried the new template with fifa08 and the result is:
Yes, the template works perfectly with fifa08 without any need to remap the points of the O model.

No more news about the kit template of Fifa 2009? Are you sure that the one used will be the same of Fifa Manager 2009? Thanks for the information.

I think this template is good. I didn't think they really needed to change much from 08, but now of course this template is taller so more detailed. That's good, and the advantage of is that it is easily convertable to 08 or vica versa to 09. And at least for me, some kit designs I already made can be used to make kits for 09. I know some of you kit design gurus may not do that, but I will.

I think it's much better not to have the captain armband on the template because there is much more space for other stuff, and it was a joke to have the whole arm, long and short, on their twice just to have the captain armband.

I'm going to say, good job EA.
