Wowzers! What the hell?
I know that a couple of months ago I was praising van Bommel, but please Klinsi, please strip of him of the captaincy and give his starting spot to Borowski.
Let him either rot on the bench or sell him, I can't stand him anymore.
Kudos to Bremen for simply being deadly with every half-chance they got. Watching the highlights again, if we weren't so sloppy with all those clear-cut chances in the first half, this game would've been a completely different story.

Oh, and congrats to Pizarro, he is a class act. Didn't rub it in when he scored, he just walked away.

Why should he rub it in? He was a fan favorite, and first choice player for years. He is where he is today because of Bayern.

I would argue that and claim that he is where is now only because of Bremen actually.

We definitely need another winger. Lell is a disaster, and if Lahm gets a bad day, we are forced to play through the middle, which isnt one of our strengths neither.

I also think that defense deserves to be castrated. How in the right mind does Klinsi think we can afford playing with 3 defenders with the quality we possess in the back field?
Lahm and useless Lell interpret their roles as classic fullbacks like in the 4-4-2 instead of wingbacks so actually it's a back 5 with only three midfielders.

But the formation was the least of our problems yesterday.

Starting XI
Borowski def need's to start. He's deserves it especially how he has tried to save the team from worst disasters. Gotta respect what Pizarro did i agree he didn't celebrate the goal. Especially after what the fans have been there for him throughout his time @ bayern. The rumors of Donovan are heating up.....January we'll know for sure. I wouldn't mind to be honest....But what this team needs is DM, GK [for competition with Rensing], and a AMC [which i'm sure Donovan can provide]. What's the deal with Sagnol? is he still injured?

Yes, Sagnol is still out, shame, tonight Bayern-Nürnberg 2nd round german cup, maybe Ribery coming back almost on the bench, alles klar; hope Butt can replace Rensing and don't know about Donovan, maybe ok but not to replace Poldi.....:)

i think bayern should give all season to rensing.
i'm agree we need a DM in winter.

in summer i would get another RB if oddo and sagnol leave.
we should sign a LB too cause now lahm don't have replacement.
also bayern would need a new CB if van buyten goes.
i wouldn't get and AM cause we already have many players who can play in this position as ribéry, sosa, schweinsteiger, altintop, borowski, kroos. we only should get a RW if schweinsteiger leaves.
if one of klose, toni or poldi leave next season bayern should get gomez in any case. and if we still have money we could get the 4rth FW.

-----------------------------------rensing
------------------------------------butt

sagnol/oddo/RB-------------lucio--------------micho-------------lahm
lell------------------------breno------hummels/van buyten/CB----LB

schweini/RM-------------DM------------------kroos-------------ribéry
altintop--------------ottl/hummels-----------borowski-----------sosa

------------------------toni/gomez----------------poldi/gomez
--------------------------klose/gomez----------------4rth FW

so we should get 3 new players minimum: a LB, DM and gomez

and if sagnol or oddo goes, van buyten and schweini we have to get a RB, CB, RM and a new FW too. 7 max.

Final, we lost 1-0 in Hannover, ok Rensing sucks but all the other 10 have sucked, think it's the end for Jürgen on the bench, think this season could be like 2 years ago, think I'm very very sad to watch my loved team in this situation, bitter für uns.....

Klinsman has lost this team without even getting to know it. We need a new goalie. Rensing is a joke. I feel though that the blame on his performance falls to the fact that his form was affected by Kahn dragging his retirement for so long. Rensing was forced to rot in the bench for long enough to mess up his confidence.

Also Shifty how bout them tides? (H)

Brew-tal los to the Cubbies too. :p

Make America Great Again
Zenit St Petersburg manager Dick Advocaat has joined his club in expressing his dismay at allegations that the Russian club won the UEFA Cup by virtue of match-fixing.

Spanish newspaper El Pais claimed a judge had forwarded information to German prosecutors which claimed a gang with links to the Russian mafia had given money to Bayern Munich before their semi-final earlier this year.

Zenit beat the Bundesliga outfit 4-0 in the second leg of their semi-final, before getting past Rangers in the final to lift the UEFA Cup.

With Bayern also denying the allegations, the Russian club have threatened legal action. In a statement on their official website, they said last: "In a selection of the media, news has popped up which refers to different Spanish sources, and directly affects FC Zenit's reputation.

"The quality of play shown by FC Zenit in the games against Rangers FC and Bayern Munich is the best proof that the victories were earned by Zenit in honest and non-compromising challenges."

"Allegations of deals mentioned in the media are offensive to all parties mentioned.

Russian Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko, who also serves as president of the Russian Football Union, said the allegations of match-fixing were another attempt to discredit the country's soccer.

"This is not just an attempt to discredit Zenit but Bayern as well. Bayern have many great players, Kahn, Klose, Toni, Ze Roberto, Lucio ... how can you bribe them?" Mutko, who was Zenit president from 1999 to 2003, said on Russian television.

"I don't think you can buy a victory over Bayern."

Dutch manager Advocaat, who has led the club to a domestic league title and the UEFA Super Cup as well as that victory in Manchester, was appalled by the allegations. "This is incredible," he told the Daily Record. "All I can say is let them play the tapes so we can hear what has been said. Then everyone will know what a big lie it is.

"Everyone knows the simple truth - we had a better team than Rangers. That's why we won the UEFA Cup.

"Rangers played very well, but we were the better side. There was no mystery. I don't know why anybody would say something like this.

"There is a lot of jealousy about what we have achieved with Zenit in such a short space of time. People don't like the fact that we have been so successful so quickly.

"But that has nothing to do with bribes or dirty money. It has everything to do with the quality of the players and coaching staff. That's why we have achieved so much."

Advocaat also dismissed suggestions either Rangers or Bayern could be bought to throw a match and also insisted Zenit's mega-rich owners Gazprom would never indulge in such tactics.

Since we're so poor, maybe we could finance our purchase of a new keeper in January by suing for defamation.
