Why is the game nothing like the demo?
The demo was alot smoother. I cant believe how difficult it is to control the passing in this game. Especially online.
I've noticed that the middle gets crowded alot.
They didnt have to change much from fifa 08. Never mind, they should have just copied the exact gameplay of EURO CUP 08 game and just added the new moves.
Am I the only one that thinks this?
Ive been playing the FIFA series for a very long time, but I find my self very annoyed by this version for the first time ever...:swear2:

I find every game a clusterf**k in the middle of the field with 30-40+ tackles per game, many yellow cards, and constant bad passes. hopefully i will get better and learn to adapt to the new passing controls, but no luck so far :(

Not agree with you, it is the most realistic version ever made... Regarding the passsing control, it's difficult but I have the idea that it improves with the experience of your team and their players....

I agree that it's realistic. But I find the game a little too speed up to be that realistic. I know you can slow it down but not on line.
I find my self giving away the ball alot. Fresh2death is right on the nose tho, I gotta get used to the passing in order to fix that.
I have no problem playing this on my own, the real problem shows up in multiplayer.The people that played EURO CUP 08 must know what Im talking about.

Ok, no experience in multiplayer mode.... I guess that fast gameplay is not the best way to have pleasure to build nice attack...

My main problem is freekicks... I didn't find yet a good methos to score even with good specialists....

I haven't been able to figure it out yet either, but there are some tutorials on youtube, just search for fifa 09 freekicks and you will see them

Yeah, another thing about freekicks is that they took out the outside curve with
you were able too put with the driven shot.

after watching the tutorials on youtube
i actuallly got much better today
made 2 free kicks today, one from a good distance (35+ yards)

just hold lb and u'll make a fine driven FK

I know how to do a driven free kick. It's just that in FIFA 08 and EURO CUP 08, if you held down the lb or l1 for the driven freekick and also aimed the ball the the right, they would curl it with the outside of their foot almost like a Quaresma kick.

yeah they don't do that anymore, sucks. only seems to do top of the foot which ends up curving only slightly left i've noticed.

Have any of you guys noticed that they give out alot of yellow or red cards when you kick the ball out of play and dont even know what fouls it was.
i was have to go to replay but never see any fouls. I had alot of problems during my manger mode. I always had yellow cards on most of my players.

i get absolutely no problem passing online and such, my game is very spaced out and theres barely any tackles in my game in the middle of the park, only in defence when i get clumsy or vice-versa

Honestly, I've been a PES fanboy since the PS1 days but I was unimpressed by the demo and I loved FIFA 09's demo so I picked it up on the PS3.
I love it, and I like multiplayer, but I hate the effing noobs who just use barca and man U and just run straight with the really fast players. I try to play real soccer but theyve made it too easy for those players that's my only beef!

I think they want the good players to be good compared to the average players, so by making them fast it makes them appear to be that much better.

p.s. : Ronaldo really is that fast :innocent_smile_1: (Y)

It just takes some getting used to. I didn't like it at first as someone who has played pretty much every fifa title, but after about 400 games I like it quite a bit.
