yup, them, right now they are pretty much our starting lineup or at least they were.

Wellbeck's legs are so long, he did really well today, should have scored.

Fabio was impressive. Terrific debut. Was not overawed by the occasion at all and looked like hes been playing in the team for a while. Welbeck had a great game too... gangly figure...looong legs.'

Oh and how could i forget our little Argie. Brilliant display by Tevez... MOTM... quick snap him up united!

you're right. Milan and Barca were unsuccssfull last year due to their injuries.

it's great that our rivals should play again in FA cup.

I would rather have Liverpool move on and for us to play Everton on Monday when Ferdiand and Evans are back i believe, rather than playing Everton on Saturday without those two.

Not good to lose Welbeck and Fabio as well. I know people are saying they aren't first teamers but I thought both were excellent last night. Fabio made some brilliant forward runs and Welbeck had some great dribbling into the box from a wide positon, which he can play but obviously that's not his main position. Unlucky not to score as well. Tevez was all over the place, working so hard. I think he deserves a permanent deal.

Next round of the FA Cup- Derby County or Nottingham Forest away.

Apparently Ronaldo wasn't 100% in the last game either, with a bit of illness before the game so he may not play on tuesday. I think it will be a bit of a mixed team against West Brom.

For the next game I think I would play:

Van der Sar
Neville, Vidic, O'Shea, Eckersley
Ronaldo (if fit), Carrick, Fletcher, Giggs
Tevez, Berbatov

subs:

Foster
Chester
Gibson
Tosic
Scholes
Possebon
Brandy/Macheda

Picking the bench is pretty hard if no-one returns by tuesday. We seem to have Lee Martin and Febian Brandy back from loans. But it might be worth recalling a few. Currently we have all these players out on loan:

Danny Simpson
Manucho
Fraizer Campbell
Sam Hewson
Tom Cleverley
David Gray
Craig Cathcart
Ron-Robert Zieler
Tom Heaton

the keepers could probably stay out though. The defenders will probably be needed though.

were facing west brom shouldnt be hard

No there's no we (including you that is) against West Brom. We (everyone else on this thread) are playing West Brom and your team that you supposedly support are playing against Newcastle at the City of Manchester Stadium tomorrow night. Anyone who thinks this sounds harsh then go on the Manchester City thread and you'll see for yourselves.

Anyway it'll be interesting to see what kind of team plays. Could be a big opportunity for some young players like Eckersley to show what they can do.

Some news on tonight. Kick off delayed until 20:15. Great news, Rio Ferdinand returns, as does Ji-Sung Park. Wes Brown is on the bench.

Even better news for United. Rob Stiles is the ref, and we all know what that means.

Not really, I always forget who's doing the refereeing. I'm guessing we get decisions off him though. 2-0 at the moment. Paul Robinson was sent off for WBA.

5-0 great result. 11 clean sheets for van der sar and whole team, that's great. I really enjoyed tonight's game, everyone played perfect from Edvin to Berba. If we score early then no team can match us. It was great to have Rio and Park again, they played great as well. lots of credit to Giggs and others.

Lets Go ManUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
