Haha, another gem from Marca today:

Quite the "fortin" they got through. It looks like even the neighbors can watch the practice. Maybe these kids should be journalists too:

• Four times in the last nine seasons Liverpool have lost a second-leg tie at Anfield following an away victory in the first but still progressed on each occasion.

Yeah, those are very interesting. We are included somehow in the second one, in 06-07 when we beat them 0-1 in Anfield but they qualified.

Anyway hope for an interesting match, not like the first :D

I somehow see a 0-0. I don't know, 8 men behind the ball in the box? I can grab 8 friends from my team and throw them in the box and nothings getting through. Its a matter of measurement, math. This wont be an open game by any means. Expect us to have the ball alot and pass it among the midfied, back to defenders, waiting for gaps, while Liverpool set camp behind the ball.

Got that right. You'd need a fast early goal to have a real chance here. Liverpool will try do what they know - defend. Fast run from the side by Robben and a cross in to the box seems the most likely kind for you.

Lets hope Juande came up with a different gameplan. IMO, we should sit Robben out. When he's out we have more avenues of attack and are way less predictable. Weve shown we can score lots of goals w/o him as well.

Agreed. It will be more of a counteattacking game that will be played by Rafa. In order for our attacking game to be effective, Robben will have to play the ball more to other players, and not try to do it all himself.

No Im not blaming them. This is the Champions League! Whatever it takes to advance will be done, by all teams. And understandably so. Im not making excuses or blaming, Im just pointing out the facts.

well so much for all that.. It looks like the Atletico game all over again.

It's sad, but good thing I didn't have my hopes that high.

I was prepared for this, thank God! What a surprise by Pool. I thought they'd sit back. I think Juande banked on that idea too much. Either way, Congrats to Liverpool for the great performance and shame on us for an embarrasing one. If we want to make the CL a priority next season we will need a total overhaul. Total.

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long

I did not see that coming. I never thought Torres would play. Personally, I thought Benitez would sit back and defend for 90 minutes. A number of Liverpool fans would have been very surprised by this result.

well, I think at the moment EPL sides are very powerful and experienced for UCL but I personally didn't think this result is coming. And it's really hard to loose at home and then come away for a good result. Each liverpool goal came at the moment which killed the match,
