Actually you're just jealous and frustrated because you're not capable of feeling empathy.

And there's the self righteous cock. Thousands of people die every day, it's a part of life.

I was shocked to see how some of you reacted to his death. It's disgusting when somebody enjoys the death of another person.

Michael Carlos*son was, is and he will always be the biggest entertainer in the history of show business. He was unique through everything he did and he inspired hundreds of other artists worldwide. Madonna, Celine Dion, Cher, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Ne-Yo, Beyonce, Britney Spears ...they have all admitted that today and allow me to say that the world couldn't go so far without people like Elvis Presley or Michael Carlos*son. They brought joy into people's houses, even though this world wasn't as bright as they were.

You don't have to feel sorry for Michael Carlos*son's death ...but at least, if you don't have anything nice to say, just don't say anything. It's a shame to do this to a man who isn't in this world anymore to defend himself. And yes, thousands of people die every day, but Michael Carlos*son dies just once and you should be grateful for the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest In Peace Michael Carlos*son - The one and only King of Pop, Music, Dancing and Kindness !:mike:

I don't think anyone said they were happy he was dead. I just don't care. I'm not happy or sad. I don't care about anyone on today's St. Louis Post-Dispatch Obituary Page either.

To the I-dont-care-he-is-dead brigade, why bother even posting if it doesn't affect you ? Will you say the same if one of your close friend died ? Like "Yeah thousands of people die everyday, so this isn't something to make a big deal of". Gimme a ******* break.

MJ's music affected a lot of people growing up including myself and I was shocked to hear the news and couldn't believe it for a good few hours. Didn't sink in that he was dead. He is the greatest performer on stage and created some of the most memorable music and videos. Heck he along with Quincy Jones ( another great ), Rod Temperton created Off The Wall, Thriller, Bad ffs. Granted, after 'Dangerous', his albums didn't didn't come anywhere near to his earlier work and his personal life was the focus for the last 15 years. As a result, today's teens will probably not understand/appreciate what this guy did for the music/entertainment industry.

He was a perfectionist on stage and made the world dance. A talent unmatched and probably won't be matched ever. And that is why, all over world, people are paying him respect and tribute.

Yes there are douchebags who will jump on the bandwagon due to his death and proclaim " Their life has changed due to this" along with the saturated media coverage ( and its not MJs 'fault' that media is licking his arse after his death). Its the sheer number of media channels that makes it oversaturated.
And this gives the chance for the I-don't-care brigade to jump in as they get sick of the coverage. **** them.

Michael Carlos*son, moonwalk in peace you legend.

all you sons of bitches who say "i didn't like him as a person". Give me a f*cking break....he is what made music. He made everything in a trend. He contributed sooo much to this world. THE MEDIA IS WHAT F*CKED IT UP and bashed him soooo bad. Tried to ruin his rep just to make a lousy couple of dollars and to sell there stuff. All the so called kids who tried prosecuting him are all going to hell including there money hungry piece of **** parents...

oh just because he has money, fame, has a so called neverland ranch with rides, etc. Lets just say try to ravage him of a couple of $$$$ and force our kids to lie that he touched them in certain parts. Sure Macaulay Culkin even said he never touched him...he loved kids because growing up you learn not to be "Fake" as a person.

Did the kids even testify to a judge? no because they were young? or because that was the escape goat to getting the money. His last years he lived under sooo much pressure and the fans who were with him threw day one knew he was no criminal. I hope he now rests in peace and I thank god I got a chance to listen to his music while growing up.

RIP :(

Considering the fact that the first album I ever bought was Dangerous, obviousy MJ was my favourite Pop artist. Not just his singing but his dancing, choreography, his perfonces, his stage shows, his charm were things I liked.

I wouldn't like to comment on the negative aspects of his life. He was a human after all.

R.I.P King of Pop.

If a close friend died I'd be devastated. Of course! Actually, that is our point, and judging by your first sentence you missed it.

Want to know why I posted?
a) Because I can and this is an internet forum.
b) I hate that everybody suddenly forgot how he was a pedophile, how disrespectful and offensive he used to be, etc. [Come on, he spent millions on lawyers and still had to settle for expensive out of court agreements. Is that the best you can do to prove your innocence when you have the best lawyers in the world?]
c) How hypocritical is it that the same media (and people in general) that made his life a living hell are the same that now are hailing him as a dead King?
d) We didn't know him. It's a shame when someone talented dies, but that is about it.
e) He hasn't made any relevant music since 1991. Probably before most of you were even born!
f) We need to focus on what's going on in Iran. This M. Carlos*son death is as futile as it is overwhelming, and served the Iranian government well.
g) Oh, he was so sad and lonely. Come on, the guy had THREE children. I'd say that is more than enough to keep you entertained, if you are responsible for their education and well being in general.

I think I can go all the way through j), but I'm hungry right now.

a) Granted.
b) I think atleast many people acknowledge that he did some terrible things in his personal life. BUT he was also one of the most influential musical artists ever and for that he deserves our respect.
c) Very hypocritical indeed, but again this doesn't mean we can show respect for the death. Atleast The Sun is sticking to it:

d) I suppose how his death personally effects you depends on how big a fan you were of Michael Carlos*son. For some(like myself BTW) he just made a few nice songs you can rock out to in a club. For many others around the world he was a huge inspiration to their lifes. I came across the Dam square here in Amsterdam the day he died and Michael Carlos*son fans had gathered there to share their grief. It was clear to me how much his death affected them on a very deep personal level. Many of them were about my age and were probably not even born yet when he had his biggest success. Again, that shows the kind of influence the guy had.
e) Do you have to be succesful in recent times to be remembered as a legend? The fact that Carlos*son had his biggest success 25 years ago and he hasn't made any good record since 1991, doesn't mean he isn't the legend that he is. He sold 750 million records(including the best selling album ever), than you must do something right. Music is timeless. I mean, The Beatles released their last studio album about 40 years ago and are still listened to by many across the world.
f) I agree with you on that. The death of Michael Carlos*son should be paid attention to but it's certainly not as important as human and democratic rights. Concerning that though it needs to be noted how Carlos*son always fought for equal human rights in his music and performances.
g) It's easy to raise 3 children and be happy if you're just Joe Random and you live in the suburbs. But it's not if you're a very mysterious person, like Carlos*son was, who is constantly chased by money hungry papperazzi and stuff. Michael Carlos*son is the perfect example of how (self-)destructive fame can be.
j) I recommend a pizza.

Pfff, I can't believe I bothered to write such a long reply. The holidays must be really getting to me. :)

i now see on Tv that all the people who tried to steal some money from him when he was alive, now all claim that he was a great person, and he has no problems with kids.Amazing! i am just curious where we will be in 150 years.
