I found this thread and I'm very interested in the development of this project. Ever since I bought a new computer some years ago, I haven't been able to play my beloved FIFA98 RTWC and I really miss that one.

I've always hoped that someone would come up with a patch which would make it possible to play FIFA98 RTWC on a newer computer with more memory but so far no hopes for that.

Then I stumbled on this thread. All of a sudden there is a possibility to play interesting World Cup games with all possible teams involved.

But I have some questions:

1) When will this patch be ready?

2) Ist it possible to install the patch and then have the opportunity to update players and kits? Is there any good editors for that or do I have to wait for new patches?

3) Is it possible to add a non-independent country or replace some non-independent country in the game with another one? I saw that Tibet and Greenland were available and I would really like to include Team Norrland (Norrland=The 5 northern provinces of Sweden). I always do that in my games! :)

The patch has just been released :D, you can see all the features on the previous page. ;)

To all the people and especially RobbieD PL, THANK YOU!!!!:bouncy:

Huge effort and at some point I was worried it would never be released. Just like many, I remember all the fun I had playing RTWC ’98, trying to qualify with one of the smaller countries and see if you could take it all the way.
I wish I had the talent to help with a patch like this, but I don’t… so all I can say is
THANK YOU!!!!:bob:

i can make that..i have all rosters made by me....all work ok but i need kits and minikits;)
if you find someone or someone help me to finish my work i can upload...
