anyway;

So after having watched the games I reckon the Wesly played rather well, we are still lacking a man of the quality of Xabi Alonso, and Granero has looked good also, at times we looked very good, but you can tell that this team hasnt been together long cause there seems to be a certain missunderstanding between players from time to time...so...it should be interesting to see them kickin on all cylinders...

Real should definitely keep Wesley. I don't think they'll be getting Alonso. Rafa either intends to keep him or get as much out of a potential deal as possible. The way I see it I think Rafa is wanting a "Ibra - Eto'o" deal, with Real giving up cash and a player.

looks pretty official now!, Great signing, that's what i wanted.....good deal IMO although as with most of our signs we overpaid, now we just need to seel M. Diarra, and The Hunter, keep Negredo, and Wesley, sell VdV and Maybe Robben, thought I would keep him...

Starting XI
Well just read some stuff where Wesley's agent says that they have reached an agreement for him to stay in Madrid....so that's good news, cause he has looked good....

So the starting 11 and position subs

Casillas/Dudek
Ramos/Torres----Pepe/Metzelder---Albiol/Garay---Arbeloa/Marcelo
-------------Lass/Gago---Xabi/Guti-------
----------Kaka/Sneijder------------Ronaldo/Granero
-----------Benzema/Negredo----Higuain/Raul-----

That leaves three more slots...

Adan
RVN
Robben or Drenthe

For the scrap heap,
VdV
Robben or Drenthe
Huntelaar

Alonso is worth 12, maybe. Not that price tags are of any concern to Real Madrid. And I seriously question how he's going to fit into your team and how much playing time he will get.

are you kidding me? they badly need alonso in the squad, gago is useless.

i predict so
-------casillas-------
ramos--pepeninja--albiol--arbeloa?
------alonso---lass-------------
--cr94------------granero/sneijder-
--------------kaka---------------
-------benzema----------------

Team Captain
A deep lying playmaker like him is what Madrid needed IMO. That will add more creativity in midfield which they've been lacking badly last season.

By the way does Higuain also play as a right/left forward? If he does, this formation could be a possibility:

-----------Casillas----------
Ramos--Albiol--Pepe--Marcelo
-----------------------------
--------Lass--Alonso---------
------------Kaka-------------
-----------------------------
Higuain--------------Ronaldo
----------Benzema----------

What? I think he's definitely worth more than 12. Maybe not 30 but 12 is pretty low.

a water bottle is worth 50 cents at the most.....but in the desert that value goes up to anything the thirsty man is willing to pay........we needed a player like Xabi A. Badly, so 30M is what we had to pay...he's worth 20M under normal circumstances

I think the man deserves a little more respect then your comment. He has served your club for a decade, he never complained and he always gave his all....just like Giggs, Scholes, Maldini etc he's one of a kind, a true loyal player that you won't see these days....

And he left with one year left on his contract, as it was in the best interest of him and the club. I never saw his best years (age being a factor) but he has being a loyal to madrid so i wish him luck in the future, wherever that may be.(Y)

Well put, and very true.

BTW...what is going to happen to Ruud, Robben and Sneijder?
