So basically: Everton are taller than us. We can't defend set pieces. We bought a midget from Belgium. We need another CB and a tall commanding midfielder cause Song and Denilson are utter crap. It's clear as day.:mad:


Vermalen & Gallas are stuck on Felliani, like stink on sh*t.
Our attackers have not even gotten their game on, Song has improved by miles and could someone please get me lube cause it's not easy....to this team:(.

We are top of the league(H) !

Great result obviously but let's not get carried away, Everton lost to Paul Ince's Blackburn on the opening day of last season, and they really folded after the 3rd goal. Vermaelen or Song would be my men of the match. I just hope this doesn't allow Wenger to come out and say that he doesn't need to sign anybody. I'd still like Subotic and a striker.

Agree with Fili & GG22 about Song! Only two days ago I was moaning about him :D.
Well we cannot get carried away,to be fair Everton do have a few injuries and it's only the first day...our true strength will be seen in January.
'Boro beat City 8-1 a couple of seasons ago and look at where both teams. Still great win and impressive debut for Vermaelen (love him already),he and the defence deserve great praise.

EDIT: We cannot get carried away,there are 37 games left, 79 points needed and four teams supposedly stronger than us left to be played. It was a poor Everton...comparable to Hull just to keep things in perspective.
