Do you guys support your Local Clubs? (in this day and age)

where I was born there was no real local club. Venezuela has been by en-large a baseball nation, but if any club had any kind of projection from Venezuela I supported them, mainly Caracas CDF and Mineros de Guayana....Since my family is from Spain, the first team I ever watched, (thru my father) was Real Madrid and I have supported them always; luckily for me they have been a generally very successful team and that did spoil me a little bit specially during the 80's but now it doesnt even matter, I support them regarless...

Currently the closest I come to a local team would be DC united and I dont watch them because I am divorced from the MLS...They took away my beloved Miami Fusion (the only local team I ever had; almost played for them), and ever since then I have no love for the MLS.

I played there, my father played there, my uncle played there, my cousin played there, yeah basically every male in my family played there.

Too bad they are probably going to face relegation this season after the chairman died and the top scorer (74 goals) left the club. If they get relegated they will play in the lowest division possible. :(

This is kind of a stupid question, really... I mean no matter where you are if in your heart you support a club it doesn't matter if you're km away (I'm talking about a high-flying club).

Then there's your neighborhood club that obviously everyone supports...
