Is it that good? I'd love to see it, but not in German, might have to drive to the Netherlands to watch it in English.

They don't even show the movies in their original languages in Germany?

Inglourious Basterds - at times it seemed really long and drawn out, but the action made up for it. Brad Pitt's character was awesome. (H)

District 9.

I was very hesitant going into this, thinking it would be your typical run-of-the-mill sci-fi movie, but that's not the case with District 9. The movie starts out spoofy then gradually gets serious as it progresses. In short, I loved it.

Some cinemas show them in their orignals languages, but other than that all movies are dubbed. I don't have a problem with it if the only language in it is something else than German, but here German is used a lot, this can make the movie seem wierd. An example for this is Saving Private Ryan, when they are talking to the German soldier. They do not understand him, but they are talking the same damn language.

Wow... I don't think I have ever seen a movie worse than this. What in the hell were they on when they made this piece of garbage? Atleast I didn't have to pay a cent for this...

It would make no sense for them to completely dub that movie because 4 difference languages are used throughout the whole movie out of which 3 of them are used quite a lot (English, French and German). Each time the language is switched it is key to the plot so I fail to see how dubbing the whole thing in German would make any sort of sense. In fact it would ruin the movie.

We are Germans, we dub everything! Maybe they didn't dub the French stuff, but they definitely dubbed everything that is English, as I have seen in the trailer.

I was actually surprised that they didn't dub Apocalypto or Passion of the Christ....

Inglorious Basterds!

Classic Tarantino movie, interesting storyline, always keeps you tense and on the edge of your seat, gory and just the right amount of action to make it a quality movie and not over do it. Only thing is that patriotic russians won't like the fact that the black french dude ended the World War II, according to this movie. But overall its great and all the european actors picked for this movie were amazing, especially Colonel Landal, that ****er was the star. Just shows how much talent europe has, compared to most crap hollywood produces.

Adventureland - Not at all what I was expecting, but turned out a pretty interesting movie that I enjoyed watching. It reminded me of myself when I was a dumbass highschooler, and the lead actor looks eerily similar to a friend of mine.

The Hangover - I was expecting a disappointing movie since it had been hyped so much, but I loved that movie. It's pretty ******* funny, and I found that I couldn't predict the movie at all, which is usually what I find myself doing on comedy films. I was surpsised and glad I finally got to see it.
