who wants a bigger pitch for fifa 10

i can change the pitch dimensions, to an extent to give you a wider or slightly longer pitch.

i want to make it 130 L x 100 W.

lets hear some ideas on what we could use as a good size for the pitch.

i feel it definitely needs to be wider.

Well, you will have some problems with cinematics, and especially with stadiums. I started one project, and for needs of project i needed smaller pitch. So I made it smaller in ai.ini, When it should be a corner, game started to crash, and when it's goal-kick, it was very strange, and goalkeeper needed long time for kicking the ball. So if you think you can handle it, 130 x 100 sounds good (Y). Good luck!

its because you didnt edit the pitch lines file.

im way past that, i cant add much more than 5 yards length, but i can add
close to 15 on the width end of it.

im getting close to having it done.

ill post some screens of a slightly bigger penalty area width wise for a lil moe wiggle room in the box & space between the boxes & sideline.

Nice idea, but it will not work fine in every stadium, because ai.ini and the pitlich lines files are not enough to edit, you must also edit every 3D model of the stadium for the pitch size, in these files stand the size too. When not will you have in some stadiums wunderful mistakes by the textures etc.

Maybe you know, that for FIFA 07 all stadiums which were created for FIFA 06 or an earlier fifa title must be converted with the stadium builder because EA had edit from FIFA 06 to FIFA 07 the pitch size.
And exactly the same you want do and that will only work in every stadium correctly, when you edit from every stadium all the m716_*.o files, so that all the stadiums have the correct size for your new pitch size.

i have made the pitch wider by 5 yards w/o any issues with adboards in any stadium.

length can go a couple of yards but thats it.

this is just something i was trying to do for me.

i wanted a little more room outside of the boxes near the sidelines & also in the penalty box, i hate having that crammed feeling all stuffed up in the box.

Yeah, i feel that too. It awesome you try to do this kinda stuff and the idea sounds really good. Keep on working and let us know about advances, some people havent noticed that you make this stuff for yourself and you trying to share it with us, so they start complaining or saying you cant do it... GO AHEAD and show us what u can do. Luck!

Very nice idea, it can add a little bit of realizm into the gameplay, good luck on it, can't wait to see some screenshots if possible
