Di Maria confirmado no Real Madrid
TSF GARANTE TRANSFERÊNCIA DO PRODÍGIO ARGENTINO

José Mourinho está garantido como futuro treinador do Real Madrid e o emblema merengue segue agora na odisseia das transferências, de modo a dar ao treinador português todas as condições para o sucesso. E hoje ficou assegurada a contratação do prodígio benfiquista Di Maria, informa a TSF.

40 millions is ridiculous. He could become a flop. I wouldn't be surprised if he became.

Well, that depends on your point of view, for example, for me giving 5 millions for any player in the world is ridiculous. But having in mind the actual panorama, it's not ridiculous at all. Di Maria is f*cking awesome, having him and Ronaldo in the wings, i really can't imagine...

it still rings true ... after the 2nd leg at the Camp Nou, he said that he cherished that victory (over two legs) against Barça above all his previous accomplishments ... and when asked about the Real Madrid job, he talked about how it will be amazing to try to win the title against as mighty a team as Barcelona is right now ... for him, Barça is very much where it was when he uttered those words ... unfortunately, most fans are blind and fickle (by choice), so it is not a surprise to see the current sense of antagonism directed at José, trying to undermine him, both subtly or otherwise ... still, a great video clip, and a great memory ...

People were saying RM would own the world when they bought Benzema, Kaka etc. With RM you never know. How many young talents have been wasted there?

I know Mourinho will probably be successful for you guys, but I think he jumps ship too quickly compared to other managers.

Its more like clubs appoint him as a short term fix, because as you can see with Inter, Jose won everything there and decided not to build a legacy from there on, perhaps trying to become the first manager that successfully defends the Champions League. Strangely enough, he once mentioned that he wished he stayed at Porto a bit longer for the sole reason of winning the European Supercup.

Make no mistake, what he'll probably do is, stay on a maximum 3 years at Madrid, win the all that he was assigned to win and leave again for another challenge. I don't think Jose is the type of manager that aims to build a legacy at any club he coaches, he's just there to help them win and on its way, achieve his own personal managerial goals and milestones.

But the psychological effect he'll have on Madrid players will be similar to what he had with Chelsea and Inter. No question about that. But I'm curious to see will Jose finally build a team that's capable of entertaining the crowd at the Bernabeu week in week out?

Capello delivered the silverware but not the style. And he was sacked.

the silverware that matters for Real Madrid is the Champions League ... but Capello's side didn't look remotely threatening in Europe ... that's why he got the sack ...

well, Mourinho is clearly on a mission to win everything first, and then settle down at a team after ... Spain is the final big league for him to win everything in ... so I wouldn't be too hasty in thinking he'll jump ship that quickly ...

well, that depends, actually ... like I said before, I think he's waiting for Ferguson to retire ... if old man Alex decides no more squeaky bum time, then Mourinho will swoop in to take over his seat ...

he has since gone on record to say that the Supercup and the World Club Cup aren't important to him, and the real trophies are the league, the domestic cup, and of course the Champions League ...

I'm wondering if he didn't win the CL if he would have stayed with Inter to try it next year. I think he would have.

I have a feeling that he will coach Portugal after Real.

Sorry to sound misinformed but wasn't Mourinho's Chelsea side arguably entertaining? I think Inter's strength leaned so much towards defensive players (the midfield players are almost all defensive, except Sneijder) that he had to go with the advantages he had.

Also why do people say he wants to coach Man Utd so much?

Stupid reason to sack. Stupid Real Madrid presidency as usual.

He said he loves the EPL more than any other league and he'd love to return there. Looks like United would be his favourite destination, although he could join any other big 4 club. You never know with Mourinho.

Didn't he state that he was gonna leave since january or something? I think he made his mind a long time ago. Btw, he didn't win the CL with Chelsea but still left.

He stated he would consider joining United if they want him to succeed Sir Alex.
