Controlling GK during a free kick

Is there a way to remain in control of the goalkeeper during an opponent free kick? I've noticed that when the CPU has a free kick near the penalty area, if you click-in the right analog stick you gain control of the goalkeeper, similar to how it works in the field of play. however, once the CPU player starts to run up to hit the ball, the control is automatically switched to a player on the wall. Is there a way to remain in control of the goalkeeper throughout the entire kick? or remain in control of any player, like a defender, to possibly guard a post? Is there anyway to have it not switch to a player on the wall automatically?

Is this something that could be fixed for FIFA 11 PC?

Also, on a related note, is there any camera modification parameter or mod that controls when the camera switches from the free kick view back to the regular view? you know, during a free kick close to the penalty area, the camera is behind the free kick taker, then it switches back right before he kicks it. Has anyone made it (through cinematic mods or .ini modification) so that that camera doesn't switch back to the regular view until the ball is cleared out or until the goalie saves it? I think it'd be cool to see the free kick go to goal from the view of the free kick taker, and should stay on that view until the ball is cleared out of the area or saved by the goalkeeper?

We will know what the cinematics modders are made of if they can find a solution to that free kick camera improvement.

I would just lower the "player auto-switch" option in the Controller menu, there's like 10 bars that you can either fill out or remove as many as you like I got mine at 3 so I can keep the player for longer time and avoid changing player accidentally.
