Lodmixer

Does anyone think it's possible to do a Lodmixer for that game?
It really annoys me that the faces are different from above and reduce to a lower graphic one.
For example Gomis has long hairs from away but if you zoom in you can see his real ponytail
or Gonalons has short hairs but from far away he has a ponytail.
Also all the other faces reducing the quality.

Hope someone will be able to create such a small tool

Oh, really off course I have everything on high, seems you don't know what I mean.
Even on all highest settings the player faces lower their quality if you zoom out and play on Tele,
that was on all PES Games, too. The only way to solve it, was that master juce made a Lodmixer for it.
So we definitly need a Lodmixer, that is very annoying that they look different from away view.

That's not possible to have anything else unless you have already changed something on LOD
I think you still don't know what I mean, just see Gomis in Teleview. Make a screen if you still think you are right

I made some screens to show what I mean, I still can't believe nobody noticed it here yet.
It's the most needed tool we need for Fifa11, it's so annoying, we can't enjoy the new great faces
without quality shadow and wrong models from normal camera.



Come one, someone who has the skills to do that little tool, have a look at it please.
It can't be such hard, juce did that in a small time every year for PES,
it's such a simple tool but the most effective one.

search settings.lua in zdata...open it in notepad.Search for this strings
asetInt(settingTable, "Grass", 1)
asetInt(settingTable, "Cloth", 1)
asetFloat(settingTable, "PlayerLodPercentageMultiplier", 1.0)
asetInt(settingTable, "PlayerLodMinimum", 0)

put "PlayerLodPercentageMultiplier" to 2.0
import and the things will go better

It even says in the beginning, this is not the final quality and so on

Firstly, yes off course it's only the Demo but it annoys me in the Demo, too
Additionally it's a known problem in all PES games and this was not fixed in any final game, every year they needed a Lodmixer.
So just need the information how to change the file fifaCCitiu.com said, can't wait to try it with that.

Try with FileMaster 10.
Search for your file into data's big files,
export and modify the lines as fifaCCitiu said,
reimport.

Any way to use that FileMaster without Fifa 10 because I don't have it.
It crashes when I start it, I think because I don't have that game.

fifaccitiu is it possible to add this setting to an external rna.ini ?

Any possibilities to open it without Fifa 10?

If not please could be anyone so kind to upload the .big file with the fixed settings.lua?

Someone from evo-web fixed the number you said and uploaded it for me but it's still
the same with set to 2.0, I think you just played on dynamical camera, that's why
you thought it's right but it is just nearer the players, if you run to the other side
of the pitch with the player you can even see the model changing during the match

Any new thoughts?

this matter had been discussed on fifa10 and it solved but for me... i am with others who doesn't care about that. as long as Gomis still have his head and the game run well without lagging. its all works for me. its only a demo anyway... are you expecting more than that? wait until the game release next month and hoping Fifaciu rushly fix it

If it would be only Gomis and Gonalons it would be no problem for me but it is on all players, the disappear of the arm shadows
and so on is just awful. On Fifa10 there was kkur7 who posted a few lines which fixed that problem, so that
there is no quality reduction anymore (> http://www.soccergaming.com/forums/showthread.php?t=160624)
I'm 99% shure it will not be gone in the final game, so I hope we start to search for these lines already in Demo,
so we can change them in the Final game immediately.

The problem with this is that if it gets fixed it will bet at a huge GPU performance tax.
