Drudge is such a cocksucker. Wikileaks turns on Obama? It's not a political organization and they don't support anyone, they just publish leaked documents.

I don't see how this is any different from the stuff wikileaks does every day to be honest.

it's supposed to be huge but I dont think it's anything new.. we all know those things anyway, just the things we know are now written on a paper.. except the khaddafi's ukranian nurse of course..

its huge already but "thanks" to media for boosting it up. they have nothing much on their desk lately.

Sure we know that politics is dirty, but it's enlightening to see in print just how little respect the minions of the U.S. machine have for the rest of the World.

There's still a lot of people out there with closed eyes and minds. Perhaps this will help wake some of them up, and they'll begin to take some notice at last and begin to ask some questions.

Apparently Interpol has put out a warrant on Wikileaks' founder. He's wanted on assault and rape charges. Smells like a set up. Let the conspiracy theories begin.

@filipower: that rape charge is old and an ineffective way of silencing a person like assange.. I'm surprised why he still is alive.. maybe they were too late to silence him..

and I love the fact how the bureaucrats and diplomats of US are gossiping like high school girls.. the words they use cracks me..

Yeah I don't think that's legit either.

EDIT: And BTW, the US Government is the one that's getting all pissy about this, but he probably hasn't ever violated US Law. Our free speech and freedom of the press rights are a lot broader than many of you Euros might expect. Hate speech is protected here, and the press is basically given a blanket right to publish classified documents that it receives from another party.

Rape charges are probably illegitimate. Asange had a similar case of rape charges against him in Sweden ealier in the year (not sure if these allegations are actually a reviewed warrant from those first ones), which were thrown out 24-48 hrs later, then reapplied, then again thrown out due to lack of evidence.

I THINK it's actually the same charge with "new evidence" which apparently still isn't sufficient to actually bring a charge against him.

It's hosted on a European server... okay... is leaking US documents a crime in Germany? I would guess publishing classified Germany documents is illegal, but probably not US documents. It wouldn't make much sense, seemingly they would want to publish leaked documents from foreign dictators and not make it a crime.

Apparently according to Assange there is yet to be released documentation that makes references to UFO's and Extraterrestrial life... some pretty crazy sh!t.

Now that is something I would be willing to donate money for...

Where the **** does Assange get this? Can't be all through hacking, or are the governments that stupid?

People in government give them to him, usually when they think something needs press (like for example all the torture and Iraq stuff he's posted). The last US thing was leaked by some PFC.

As far as I know he doesn't hack at all.

He used to hack when he was around in Melbourne in his early twenties

assange told he gets these files from a guy named bradley manning, a war officer in iraq who has access to USA's own military communication network, pardon me I cant recall its name right now.. apperantly the network's security isnt that advanced, manning managed to copy files to a rewritable dvd and wrote LADY GAGA on it, so that he could get them out easily.. bradley didnt sell those documents to USA's enemies, he just wanted those to be known so he contacted assange..

these are the things that they want us to know.. hell knows what actually happened..

and MaestroZidane; you're a bit late since paypal closed the donation account to wikileaks, the official reason is "the donated money used in illegal activities".. amazon closed servers, paypal cancelled donation account, site traffic sometimes exceeds 1GB/sec.. good job, but I cant help thinking is that the best USA could do?
