Yeah a good game. Very difficult to penetrate a defence like that but we did it twice. Great result, and two very nice goals. Ramirez' goal was class.

Tevez has always been a thorn to any side he plays against. Good to see him missing today. Carlo's still playing around with the strikers ,and even though Torres didn't score he still had a good game. He's looking sharper every game, and so are the team.

So im watching the chelsea-man citeh match and I must say it was a hard fought match by them blues! congrats like i told my good friend from princeton who happens to be a big chelsea fan so that caught my attention to watch the game today after a beautiful weekend. It was a "Brazilian" nite in England. congrats hope you guys get CL football next season.

Really happy for Luiz and Ramires.

RAMIRES!!!!! God I ******* love that kid. Just needed to get his confidence up and have someone turn him loose. I knew watching the Confederations Cup in 2009 that he was going to be a huge star. Think that was before he even got to Benfica.

Sweet goal by Ramires. He schooled three players with ease.

1-1 to Stoke.

Safe to say that the title is probably just out of reach, with the way the results have been going for us. Although I would love to be wrong, I just can't see it any other way.

Stoke deserved more than a point, really didn't expect them to be up for this one given they have a Cup tie coming.(Would b funny if they lost after all the passion their supporters and team displayed against us).

The positives we can get out is that Drogba's starting look like his normal self again, and I thought Torres looked sharp coming out of the bench, Benayoun coming back would certainly help him(given the understanding they've shown at Pool).

Negatives were probably how we defended, Jones and Walters ran riot and Cech really saved us numerous times. Luiz made too many risky moves at the back and he was punished for the Stoke goal, he really needs to work on that.

Very entertaining game. You've got to hand it to Stoke, though. I really enjoy watching them play.

Yup, full credit to Stoke. Especially the supporters, brilliant atmosphere and a breathtaking game. Stoke really stuck with their guns, direct football all the way. Both Boss and Cole were having a torrid time dealing with Etherington and Pennant's late runs.

Jones was a monster, almost Drogba-like, thankfully his finishing was nothing like Drog.

Bloody hell. They scored their goal too easily. Bosingwa was in no man's land and he got sucked in.

Midfield was disjointed, and we didn't take the clear chances we had. Essien had a poor game. Ramires, Lampard and Essien really had poor games by their standards. Zhirkov was missing also. Malouda coming on really did spark up our attack a bit.

Oh yeah, we got denied a penalty again in the Champions League, and being already used to that it didn't bother me the slightest. Didn't appreciate Torres's blatant dive though.

If we played like we did, I just can't see us beating the likes of Barca/Madrid/Schalke/Inter even if we were to get the result we need at OT.

Hopefully we get Alex and Benayoun back. I just don't feel as comfortable with Bosingwa at RB as I do with Bane. Benayoun should offer a lot more creativity, and we'll need plenty of that after the lack of ideas up front.

Its not an impossible task by any means, we just need to get an early goal at Utd. We have to come out of the blocks quicker, we always raise our game whenever we're behind and that is the case in this tie. Just hope the lads realize that.

IMO you guys badly need wingers. Your formation is very narrow and you don't have fast dribblers to get into good positions to deliver crosses. Instead of buying Torres, I'd invest in wingers if I was Ancelotti. You can get 2 very good wingers with 50 millions. Malouda is good but is getting older and isn't as sharp as he used to be. Kalou is OK but not a natural winger. You lack true natural wingers. I don't fancy the diamond 4-4-2 at all unless you have the best full backs in the world.

Also, looks like Torres is having a hard time gelling in the team. Team chemistry between him and Drogba is very poor. I do expect this to improve though. Torres is young and worldclass. Just a matter of time before he settles in.

Well, we've got one of them. Hopefully Carlo genetically combines Iva and Bosingwa to create the other.

But when one of your fullbacks is injured then you're screwed. IMO not a good idea to rely on full backs for pace on the wings. 4-3-3 would probably be best for you guys with the players you have. 4-4-2 with your current players is way to narrow and predictable. Even with 4-3-3, you still need wingers/side forwards. Malouda is perfect but the other side needs to be sorted out. Anelka and Kalou are strikers and I'm not impressed with them on the wing. Anelka is a great second striker but just a "decent" winger imo.

Does anybody else constantly see Side-show Bob whenever they see David Luiz?

Chelsea's game winner(their only goal), at home, against Wigan will have to be clouded by controversy.....reason: Fernando Torres interfered with the GK allowing Malouda to score.

It was a clear foul. The referee did not call it. Chelsea wins 1-0.
