Pjanic is good, but I'm glad they said now. It's a bit of a slap in the face to fans to just keep buying EVERYTHING but what they really need.

I don't like the signings too much so far. Park: 26 years old, 3 millions L, 25 goals in 91 appearences, and available for a couple of years... im not saying he's a bad player, but do they need him? Mertesacker... i dont know, if they get cahill too, OK, but mertesacker and alex for instance, not the best defenders. Andre santos i do like. But the main problem for me is in the midfield, they need one creative who can start right away, and for me another one more athletic. Malouda?? They have walcott, arshavin, gervinho, rosicky and andre santos both can also play as wingers, shouldnt be a priority, sounds more like a "panic buy". They need a player more like Pastore. But its difficult if Wenger thinks that no player is worth 20 or 25 M. Only extremely young talents. Zarate for me was a great sign, but they didnt want to pay 20 M... I'm waiting for midfielders, that would be the difference in arsenal level until january

I don't give a flying **** about Cahill anymore. I would rather let Bartley learn from an experienced cb than another guy who needs to prove himself and then take over from the big guy. Specially if we sign a player like M'villa. Per is also a good professional from what I've heard and very calm and composed. We need his sort at the club really.

I think he is planning for Jan already. We are literally rebuilding the squad from scratch. I give him my vote of confidence to turn things around unlike Piers Morgan. Piers wants Martin O'Neil...........mental! Arsenal are one of the lowest spenders in the English game in the past few years and no one has come near us. It just comes to prove what a top top top top man Arsene is. I won't excuse his failings for sure but I would be gladly give him the chance to turn this around.

Great for Andre Santos! Also, Mertesacker joined us. ShiftyPowers and Arnau said he will not improve our defence. Is he that bad, or just not for EPL? I remember some good matches of him, but only in national team.

Trust me Waldo, I've seen "Merte" play many matches, he's a really good defender but sincerely I'm afraid he's really too slow for the EPL, consider he's 1,98 meters for 91 Kilos.......

I honestly wouldn't see a problem if you guys have a CB with speed to compliment him. He can be a wall of China if provided with a class team. He's not like Metzelder in any way, Now if you guys wanna talk about a underachiever there's your lad.

Vermaelen and Koscienly are superb on the ball and extremely fast for CBS.
