Claupastore, old school! It's good to see your name on the forum, I associate it with succesful times for Juve. ;) I wonder what happened to Mark, IceBlu, Italianstallion and the likes. Unfortunately Soccergaming has lost a lot of its regular posters.

IceBlu retired from the forum in like 2004. He hasn't been back a single time since.

Oh, yeah, Italianstyle.

Juventus - Parma, FT 4-1! The first match in Juventus Arena was a beauty. We knew Andrea Pirlo is a football genius, but seeing him in Bianconeri gives it a whole new dimension. Two amazing assists, one finished beautifully by Marchisio. Should be one of the best goals of the season already. Best signing since Calciopoli! Vidal also looked pumped up in his debut, and scored a beautiful goal aswell.

Defensively Juve didn't give anything away either, well, until De Ceglie's effort at the end... Let's just say it was unfortunate. To be honest that guy doesn't belong in bianconeri. He looks like a girl and too often makes stupid basic mistakes, like on his first touch. Ziegler couldn't possibly be worse...

This Juventus has a lot of fight in them, and I can't wait until next week! Hopefully we'll see Elia in action then aswell.

Now that is how you inaugurate a stadium. (H)

Apart from the penalty(which will be responsible for the creation of a few new assholes courtesy of Conte) it was a dominating performance from us. I mean Parma didn't do ANYTHING whatsoever. No threat posed by them the entire game which was a highlight of our dominating performance. Solid defense and 90 minutes of pressing, that's what I want to see. Can't even remember the last time Juventus was this dominating, against a little team no less. Teams like Parma had been giving us trouble the past few seasons and embarrassing us on certain occasions.

Matri was unlucky hitting the post but an awesome goal from Vidal. (H) Marchisio too, very acrobatic finish.

That 12th man helped today. Just a beautiful stadium and the atmosphere was awesome, just what we were lacking the past several years.

And Pirlo is going to be the signing of the season. Del Piero also looked surprisingly lively for an old man (H).

Love Conte's philosophy of having a good player come off the bench to run at tired legs.

(Best I could find, most of them were deleted already)

Incredibile.

Matri was robbed off a goal, by the way. He seemed to be on the same line as the ball and a Parma defender. That and the inside of the post... I hope he gets his first goal next week.

Great result for Old Lady.

Great performance by Pirlo. His passing and vision were second to none, CLASS.

Solid performance by defense players as well, they barely gave any chance to Parma.

Juve will not play in European competitions this years so they will mostly have one match per week. So I think Alex and Pirlo can be more fresh for all games and Conte can concentrate on UCL spot and possibly Serie A.

Matri was so unlucky to not score, damn bar and bad call. New signings looked good as well.

Btw, Juve started with 10 Italian players, that's really impressive at their level. However, the only non-italian, Lichtsteiner, scored the first goal in this stadium.

I don't know whether 4-2-4 will work against top teams but Conte showed that he can easily convert in 4-3-3. Pepe was good but Krasic is at another level, and I am not impressed by Giaccherini performance.

Juve = True Class , this year. Buffon, Del Piero, Pirlo and Conte himself.

Oh La Oh La Oh La JUVE JUVE

Conte's anti-siena list:
1 Buffon, 3 Chiellini, 5 Pazienza, 6 Grosso, 7 Pepe, 8 Marchisio, 10 Del Piero, 13 Manninger, 14 Vucinic, 15 Barzagli,
17 Elia, 18 Quagliarella, 19 Bonucci, 21 Pirlo, 22 Vidal, 24 Giaccherini, 26 Lichtsteiner, 27 Krasic,
30 Storari, 32 Matri.

no estigarribia and 3 goalies. that I dont understand.

formation should be:
Buffon, lichtsteiner, barzagli, chiello, grosso, pepe, marchisio, pirlo, giaccherini, vucinic, matri.

hoping to be wrong about giaccherini, elia couldnt possibly be worst than him even if elia doesnt know the language and hasn't internalized the new concepts.

on other news, Moggi's attorneys have found a new call from those 170.000 that the prosecutors seemed to forget about which says, according to them, that there was a plot to deliberately remove juventus from the competition and put others in the center of it. this new wiretap will be discussed in the courtroom on the 27th.

I hope the new evidence goes through, Moggi doesn't usually lie. it's fair to be punished when you've done something wrong. it's not fair when you're made a scapegoat for everybody else's **** while they get a slap on their wrist. payback time Milan ****s, now available in both colors.

$5 billion in compensation plus Wesley Sneijder with a demotion to Serie C2 would be appropriate for Merda, considering all the possible revenue we lost out on. (H) I hope people get ready to kiss our ass and apologize after all the **** we went through. I always believed in our innocence and Merda will soon begin to reap what they began to sow.

its not a matter of being innocent or not, the real important thing is that 5 years after calciopoli, theres new evidence that was kept out of the original trial. evidence that demostrates that it wanst just juve, but a lot more team that the ones initially found guilty (juve, milan and fiorentina).

its a sad chapter in italian football, one that has to come to an end, but with some kind of justice. not by putting a stone over it like many are saying.
