Weird, I'm playing on Legendary with Tactical defending on, an my opponent rarely has 90+ pass success rate... well, sometimes, but it's mostly just around 80-85 percent from what I can tell. I don't have any tweaks or mods currently. Sometimes the CPU does make really bad passes.
I kind of like the new impact system as well. Really, one bad thing about this years FIFA is the "robotic" movement, but then in the heat of a match I rarely notice it anymore.

I think it's a really great game. But, and it's a big but, the AI is still lacking. I've been playing on legendary and the problem for me is that my team-mates AI is way more stupid than the CPU AI. None of my players will move to close down space the way the CPU does. Am I really expected to control 11 players all at once? I really hope the game-play sliders will go a long way to fixing this. But I doubt it.
Multilayer, the game is the most fun i've had with a football game since PES was at its best.

well i guess this is my final option
the main problem is not the new tackle system. its only the fact that EA burst the attackers AI to a great level, but kept the defenders (the ones in ouur team) stupid. while the second mark never tackles, we must go ourselves to the tackle, leaving huge spaces that the other defenders (the stupid ones, controled by the stupid AI), cant cover. and since the attackers are very smart, they pass very well, and enter easily on these spaces.
i even try to hold the ground, while sending another defender to cover, but its useles, since he never tackles. and on the very moment i step aside the place i was holding, the attackers passes the ball and find another one face by face with the goal. trully, the cpu doesnt even shot from outside the area.
i wish EA would notice that before the end, but i guess it wont happen. im even gona post this same thing on their forum later, although i think its useless =/

Here is what is in my opinion positive and what negative in FIFA 12:
POSITIVE:
- Impact engine (only partially, cause it have a lot of bugs)
- Precision dribbling - it really helps in tight situations
- Graphics
NEGATIVE
- Impact engine bugs
- No support from my teammates in both attack and defence - they are watching the ball and slowly sliding forward-back, or they stick to defender and not move an inch further, and this is BIG problem for me cause everything looks very passive
- AI have really high rate of intercepting
- AI have high passing accuracy, almost every time above 90%
So, after more and more playing thoose stufs are going into surface. But generally I can't say that 12 is much better of 11. It is better, but without Impact Engine and Precision dribbling I would say FIFA 12 = Fail. Unfortunately, but yes.
Good thing is that some stuff's might be improved with gameplay patches. So, as every year, we'll be relying on non-EA gameplay patches.

-Hand Ball is back in the game
-Graphics seem to be a bit improved
-When a player gets injured,the referee stops the game and after that its a "referee ball"
-New Defending System
-New Intro
-New and improved Pop-ups(Shows Posession % during the game and also the goal scorers)
-Rating System at the end of the match(Gives me a good idea in career mode of where to look at for a change in my team)
-Possibility to act fast when there's a throw-in(Same as the quick free-kicks)
-Better and easier to make minifaces
-Amazing sound when you smash the ball in the net at penalties.
-Improved AI
Cons
-Most of the shots are at the "grassroots"
-Bugged Player Impact Engine(It happens very often that some of my players get tackled down all of a sudden because of it)
-Texture and Model issues when the goal celebrations occur
-Heavy ball physics
-Slowly paced gameplay
-The referees seem to be from the EPL English League because very rarely they stop the game for fouls or to give out yellow cards
-I played 25 games and had one yellow card and no red cards at all
-Confusing penalty taking system(Takes some time to get used to it)
-Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund have better build-up speed than Barcelona,according to the game
-Legendary difficulty makes any team play almost like Barcelona

I think EA need to fix a bit the heavy ball, because the game are matches are to slow, i really like FIFA 11 pass and i dont like how the player do the fouls , i cant do a foul its very difficult, i have two yellow cards in every match, because the player didnt do fouls he go to take the ball and this is stupid

Has anybody noticed that players, when loosing and near end of the match, are highly protesting to referee for fouls?
Today I played against City and I was loosing 3-1, then Wilshere made a tackle, near the end of the match, after which he assaulted the referee making him a
, Rosicky was pushing him away. Then I made another harder tackle to see if that was coincidence and yet more hard protesting.

Also now that the awesome kit selection screen looks much better that Fifa 11 does that do away with the minikits or will there have to be a wholoe set of new minikits ?

By the way anyone has a problem near half time/end time with stuttering? Like demo massively stuttering?
