After regeneration I had to start my career again as it said my saved career was currupt but that's ok cos I have only played 3 friendlies and 4 league matches..

Reg, welcome back to FIFA12, and congratulations for this patch. I have a problem when i apply that patch and regenerate. The game crash when i start a new career mode. The names are ok but the game crash. What can i do? Thanks a lot!!!.

I have the same problem... I start a new manager mode, choose the team, choose the settings... then the game closes without saying another word, just like I'd hit alt f4. Weird.

carrer mode crash

to everyone having problems im not sure w/ the deal is, it doesnt crash on me at all regardless of the mode i play.

anyone else who sees the changes of the names happen to have the career mode crash issue ?

i dont see how the editing of names could cause a crash.

only idea i can come up w/ is i assigned stadium names to teams whos stadium is already in game, try to remove them from the table & see if that fixes the crash.

RC, what happened to me is simple - on loading Fifa profile, it said Squads1 is damaged which is quite natural and expected.

I think what the users are facing is that - they perhaps cannot continue PREVIOUS CAREER mode (database has changed)

Edit : I will try with a new career, yes it is indeed crashing to desktop.

Then I deleted the entry of Man Utd in that table and tried a career with Man Utd, again crash

Then deleted all, now it is running.

@RC: i agree wid arkapd....plz fix it

Okay, in FIFA 12. they made it your choice to customize the game yourself but i think dat it is too complicated.... They wud have just done it.. Though they screw it up. i thought the pass speed was too slow, i increased it and hey! its better now... the players too don;t show sign on speed even when they are sprinting... The option is thr, but i don't want to over tweak it! So please, this is actually to Fidel but if you have your games setup fine with ur own settings, please please tell me... There are about 16 options there in user customization and cpu customization. Please kindly reply with the values u set for each of them..>I want to make my gameplay better... For example, u can just write 55,60,50,50,70,65.... like dat but they shud be 16 numbers... Thanks!

RC, I think its to do with dbm11 and the regenerator. I have further found out that after adding your stadium names and then having to use the regenerator both my existing careers and squad files are saying they are currupt and having to redo the squads (as I edited the MCFC squad) and starting careers from scratch again, that sorted the problem.

I then noticed that playing an international game Belgium had no names on thier shirts so I opened up the dbs again using dbm11 and changed the teamkits > jerseybacknameplacementcode from 0 to 1 to show the name. Starting the game again nothing had changed so I regenerated again and again the squads and careers were reporting currupt, going back to a backup cleared the fault.

I hope someone can sort this I think it needs a new dbm12 and its so important that I can edit the dbs using dbm11 /12 to correct any differences like the belgium not having names showing..

what did you take out ?

the entire table or just the teams who already have stadiums assigned by stadiums in game ?

no bro, anytime you edit the db any files you have in my documents fifa folder except profile becomes corrupt.

cause the databases dont match, its been this way for years man.


to everyone, just hold on to the table & when we figure out whats going on w/ all the files & ways things work we can then use the table w/ 100% success.

better its out there & doesnt have to be made later by someones else, making it was a pain in the ass.
