Polish patchers never make CMPs. NEVER.

I really don't understand what's Poland's problem with CMP.

Polaczki, dlaczego?!

But I hope that when CM12 is done, a CMP version of this will be made. I don't care about changed menues and useless things like that. I simply want THE TEAMS.

Also, it'd be cool if Pogoń Lwów was in "Rest of Poland". This is how they look like. The oldest Polish club can't be omitted from such a big Polish patch.

because they want their mod used, its how most editors do it, in fact the only mod that was cmp last year was the j league that i & other put together.

but at this moment in editing time there is no other way, best thing to is just release the data in excel sheets to be added to everyones tables.

Which is really stupid. Patchers really act like they were making patches for themselves and not for the players.

There should really be more cooperation, not antagonism, in the FIFA fanbase.

Nobody earns money for making patches, so I don't really understand why most patchers are such asses.

The main problem of this approach is that you can't add more than one mods... If I'm italian, first, I search for a patch that adds italian minor leagues and improves the existing ones; then, I'd like to add Polish leagues and try andappreciate this work... and Malaysian and Greek leagues, and so on...
but I cannot do it, if it forces me to give up everything else!

This is the main reason why I started to develop a new tool for the distribution and installation of patches (very simple, configurable and customizable).

At this time the program (i68Patcher) is able to install (update) properly (and automatically) any original file of the game.

First public beta will be released in a few days.

The next step is to allow the program to read and execute some "db commands" from a text file...
It will be easy, for example, to add a new kit. You will have only to provide the rx3 and the "patch.txt" file with a few lines:

SET TABLE = DB TABLE NAME (ex. TEAMKITS)
CLONE ID = KITID TO CLONE, NEW ID
UPDATE FIELD = FIELD NAME, NEW VALUE
UPDATE FIELD (...)

If the patcher find the new id already used on the destination db,
search for first free one and changes things accordingly...

What do you think about it?

Big patches was still a problem...
but i'm wondering to manage for reading excel files to merge 'distributed tables' with existing ones (and if changes are needed... ).

Bye :)

i agree but this is how it is & has always been.
rinaldo once implemented a system called cms which set ids to leagues & teams & players to have the possibility of more than 1 league in your game.

nobody ever follows it but the cep team.

cm12 will be released at some point in time but that doesnt mean the editors will allow the patch to be made into a cmp to be shared.

amazing idea, rinaldo once created a cms converter allowing you to assign all new ids to cmp patches allowing us to change ids & have all patches compatible.

but go ahead & get it started but you wont be able to finish it until tournaments are figured out because they must be assigned new id also.

good luck w/ the tool, i know im looking forward to it.

Yes. CMS will be good. But CMS is not fully working, because some ID's on the list inś not working. We need repair it for using.

One note about Pogon Lvov. They can't be in Polish League, cuz' Lvov is in Ukraine now. Notice that we didn't wrote Rest of The World setup, but I don't want to spoil any suprises...

A program that reads EXE patches? Huh, that'd be an awesome tool!

But I still wish patchers switched to CMP. CMPs are lighter (EXEs may weigh hard gigabytes) and more convenient.

I'd love the FIFA sites from around the world to cooperate on one big patch, rather than compete with each other.

But Pogoń Lwów is a Polish club which plays with other Polish teams. I don't think that the fact that Lwów currently lies in Ukraine is a problem here. "Rest of Poland" isn't a league, it's merely a collection of different teams (like Rest of World), so adding Pogoń wouldn't hurt the "reality" because such league doesn't exist after all.

It's a Polish club, not Ukrainian like Karpaty Lviv, so it deserves its place in the patch.

Bądź kurwa patriotą, a nie pierdol o Ukrainie!

I'm not responsible for the teamlist. I just send the news further. :P Pogoń plays friendly matches against polish clubs, but nominally plays somewhere in the Ukrainian lower divisions. Sure it would be cool to play against them, but, like I said, I'm not responsible for the list. More news + first screens soon.

Stop that CMP stuff. You have no idea what are youtalking. CMP last year were a disaster, bad ID importing and problems over problems caused only by CMP, so that's the MAIN reason CMP is not popular. It has problems, big problems for FIFA 11.

So, patchers should simply cooperate to make big international patch instead of making small patches which are all unsatisfactory.

I just hope this comment is not an insult to the genius of Rinaldo. CMP did works. My patch, Malaysia Leagues for FIFA11, version 2 and above, did use CMP for distribution.

When CM11 latest version released it even better. The problem lies with the patch user who just simply ignore the conflict or similar players (though different ID) and assume it is the same. Also probably Rinaldo forgot to put conflict check of players' name and playersid together.

I encounter the problem with J-League patch, and decided to look closely some players with similar names like Joe something (Australians) that conflict with existing Joe players, so importing as CREATE player is the solution.

Anyhow, CMP is workable since it's introduction in CM09/CM08. I just that some group of patches decided to keep distribute in EXE manner, but that is the freedom and democracy that keep us continue to do it.

Personally, it's okay for any person/patch maker(s) to decide which way to distribute his/their own works. We user, should we decided to use it, use the way they intended. Just like buying FIFA 11, we buy regardless of whether our leagues exist or not.

No insult to Rinaldo, but CMP for FIFA 11 was a disaster, because of the IDs. An example, tried to import a player with a "free", so called by CM, ID, and then I see Ibrahimovic was overwritten. Quick Team Creator used the CMP format, and about 5-6 teams of players were imported as Free IDs but they overwritten existing players. It took ages to repair the damage.

When the non experienced users are complaining about not knowing to install a patch, explaining that their bug is CMP problem and not patch problem is Science Fiction, so that's why we didn't released a CMP. And CM 11.2, no, no, that wasn't a reliable tool like CM 11.0 was, it erased all the names of the players. Not just for me, for 90% of the users.

I understood now. Glad you're not like that.

This problem with CM11.2 is truly a bugs. I DO CONCUR.

I have to use CM11.1 and/or CM11.0 both together to edit and make CMP for my patch.
