I don't understand why Rafael was brought on the pitch then subbed off. Doesn't make any sense.
I dont think there is anything wrong with subbing a substitute... I am actually surprised it doesnt happen more often.

Besides, Rafael was brought on only 17 mins in so it's not like he came on and went straight back off again.

So where's Chicharito? One season wonder?

in the bench due to welbecks current form.

just like Chicharito kept berbatov in the bench even though he was one of the top strikers in the EPL that season and out of the champions league final. :clapwap:

Chicharito I think it a bit of a victim of circumstance too in the sense that I'm not sure if United is the perfect fit for him in terms of style. I'd say he's definitely best in a 4-4-2, but his best attributes are getting behind defenses and scoring on counter attacks, which United don't have as much of as other teams because they have the ball so much. Idk, maybe I'm talking out of my ass. I think he'd be the Premiership top scorer if he was somewhere like Newcastle or Everton.

The main problem with him is that he cannot keep possession. He gets pushed to the ground way too easily. Other than scoring, he doesn't contribute much to the game as well. Welbeck contributes much more; dribbles, passes, etc. Welbeck is definitely the best striker to partner Rooney imo. Chicharito works best as an impact subsititute.

I always saw him more as an impact sub.

Well I'm sure he'd rather be second or third top scorer at United than top scorer at Everton.

C*ty is out of the CL, Carling Cup and FA Cup, so they only have EUROPA and EPL left to compete in. Now they will focus more on the EPL but I hope they end up trophyless.

Why are there no Mexican olympic medal winners?

Because anyone that can run, jump or swim left the country a long time ago.

that is false. there are some Mexican Olympic medal winners but not in those categories. Although in olympic diving Mexico has always been one of the best in the world.
