Yeah but read his post carefully, he says "In addition we can add as many new leagues as we want assigning to them any id that is different from the "magic ids", they will be simulated in career but if we try to manage a team from one of these leagues, FIFA 12 will crash. ". So for someone like me who is looking to put in place the CONCACAF, AFC, CONMEBOL, and Euro Confederations so I can have World club Championship this will be possible. The drawback of course is you cannot change to another team while in a career mode which I usually don't do anyway. The key is being able to add stand alone tourneys or change the structure of current tournaments and he doesn't speak much of that. I think people who play be a pro mode and manager mode will be disappointed but those of us who pick a team and try to get them to top level status and stick with them will have just as much fun this year as years past. Of course if you have 15 leagues added and now you want to play a career in a different league you simply switch the ids and then start career mode. But we will have to wait to see.

I totally get your point, man. I'm interested mostly in the CONMEBOL leagues/Club World cup as well. I just don't like to have that feeling of needing to replace stuff in the game instead of being able to simply expand stuff... Last year's game was a jewell on that matter. But it's all EA's fault. If they paid attentio to all of us, instead of trying to coerce us to play the game "their way" it would be pretty neat heh Well, back to reality now lol.

Since teams cannot be in more than one league, I switched teams from the Spanish league with the teams from the rest of Europe that I put into the Spanish league. And it works fine in career mode.

Mh maybe you aren't understand me.
That I'm trying to get its to make a Superleague made of best european team, with promotion and relegation that substitute the English leagues... so image the Premier League with Real Madrid Milan Chelsea and the Championship with Everton Ajax Fiorentina, the League 1 made of Chievo V. QPR Getafe and so on.

That's what I did, I created a Superleague made up of the best teams. only I did it with the Spanish league instead of the English leagues. All you need to do is switch the team id's in the leagueteams table using DB master. For example switch the top 3 teams from every league with all the english teams ID's, and you will have a Superleague with promotion and relegation.

Can you explain, did you change a certain competitions structure, did you add agroup stage to a tournament. Im trying to figure some of this out as I dont play with euro teams and I am curious about your findings.

i'm figured about promotion and relegation... that's needed for a patch that i'm planning but i don't know if i'm able to finish

some how get men to woman ratio to 50-50 even that is fine

why are you asking him if you posted how to do it at the top of this page.

Because it sounds like he did something different than just replace teams in the English leagues, and I'm currently trying to create a multi-tier league structure outside of the English leagues, but it's crashing on me.

So far, I have been editing the settings.txt and tasks.txt files, but I have not been able to get it to work properly.
