I only found out recently that a lot of full length feature movies where the copyright has expired have been put on Youtube completely legally.

The Lodger, And Then There Were None, They Might Be Giants, Peeping Tom (unfortunately the is in parts), The Wild One and The List of Adrian Messenger are all excellent ones which I have found so far.

Also there are some curiosities, like Family Enforcer which is quite bad but has a very young Joe Pesci being good, and Lawman which is a Western I have never even hard of with a good cast and decent story.
